I’m having a great time but what stood out in a negative way was that everyone had VA after handing in a quest, except for Renzik. This might be a me problem but I can hear Grimla, Monte and the others just fine.
Is there no VA or is this a bug?

Some people say it’s because his VA is on strike, but he doesn’t seem to be voiced in any language at all.
I don’t think the excuse really matters since this is supposed to be a finished product but w/e. It’s an embarassing way to start off the new patch, which otherwise seems quite decent.

I think there’s just no VA for that one Goblin, which is pretty grating IMO, either voice them all, or voice none of them, but almost all characters being voiced, and just one not feels really weird.

it’s an indie company on a budget trying to keep a f2p game alive guys chill.
no he doesn’t have VA . if you rush devs to create content every 8 weeks it ends up like this

The VA is a SAG-AFTRA voice actor, and that strike is indeed ongoing. No idea why Blizzard hasn’t chosen to add the lines from voice actors in other languages though.
The voice lines are present in the game files but they all appear to be corrupted - so it seems to just be a tech issue.
I vaguely recall that when this happened in the past they had to get the VA back in to re record them which obviously is something that can take a longish time.
