Does 'Talisman of Nightbane' still drop?

Been farming the ‘Talisman of Nightbane’ off-hand weapon for my Fire Mage transmog across 4 characters every week since pre-patch Legion and I have never seen it drop. Its the final piece to complete my set (Zadal-TarrenMill current gear aswell as Teebu’s Blazing Longsword) and feel like no other piece would compare to the awesome fire breathing aesthetic. It drops from Nightbane in the old Karazhan TBC.

Really beginning to question its existence anymore and nowhere online can give me a definite answer nor a drop chance. Anyone seen it drop lately or can give me any information? <3

If it’s in the dungeon journal and appearance collection(it should show unobtainable uncollected items) then it should still drop.

RNG back then was terrible. You might do those raids so many times and never seen a particular item drop.

Hey Zadal,

the item indeed is still in-game, and you have a chance acquiring it from Nightbane! I hope that you manage to get it soon!

There is also this item, that you might want to consider, same model, just different colour. Not sure if it fits very well with your transmog however!

Vossprey, I actually do already have that tmog but it’ll be more my frost mage appearance as I don’t have the scythe from Lord Ahune :wink:
