Doing little to no damage whilst soloing Halls of Valor Raid

Just tried sololing the Halls of Valor raid with my 120 Worgen Hunter, and thought it was going to be easy, seeing as Hymdall and Hyrja both have around 300K health, but I don’t even deal over 100 damage per arrow I fire. Is this normal?

Yes, you have to keep them an x amount of yards apart otherwise they shield eachother for 99%. 30 yards or something. And they also need to die at ‘the same’ time. Like the totems at the crap-boss in Atal Dazar.

Ah, ok that makes sense. Do you know any effective way to separate them alone? I have a pet but they both seem to ignore him and go for me instead…

As hunter there is no easier thing, order your pet to engage first with auto taunt on, then let him attack hymdall, then you engage and attack hyrja and take her far from hymdall and kill her, then finish hymdall and ure g2g :smiley:

If you can kill the 2nd in less than 10 seconds after the first :smile:

I owned that with this rogue, i didn’t even split them, killed them together with no problem though, so i even forgot about that shield and distance.

No, i killed them as fast as there was no shield. Opened with garrote from stealth on both of them and they were burning as my garrote can crit for 20k.2 or 3 mutilates and i engaged odyn.

Use your pet and it will not take much time.

I just ran around the big circle in the room lol, eventually one of them stops to casts some stuff or something and the other will keep chasing you letting you kite him/her away from the other to do some damage.
Just keep running in that circle until success :sweat_smile:
