Doing the Mage Tower at level 70?

So my question is : is it possible to do MT time walking with level 70 characters in this expansion ?

To be more specific I currently have a 1 month subscription but not TWW and will not have TWW for some months at least. I want to use the time to do some of the MT challenges again. I did around 24/36 during Legion at the time, and have the appropriate gear, but my question is whether using a level 70 char will be able to do it or not given that there are no hero talents. Or whether the scaling will take this into account.

If anyone has any insight I would be very grateful

It’s doable, depends how good you are and how much time you have to attempt.

Well I’ll guess I’ll try it out - I remember it took me dozens of attempts for most of those back in the time so I don’t expect to 1 shot.

Before TWW (during prepatch) came out a few people commented that it was more difficult than in DF, but people were still succeeding. It’s so spec dependent that it’s hard to say exactly, it is doable but it should be easier at 80 since your class becomes more powerful, in some cases massively more.

At 70 you miss 10 talents, sometimes the hero specs make an enormous difference. It should be doable without but if you own TWW you might as well hit 80 first.

Personally last expansion I did a challenge at lvl 63 and it was just unnecessarily harder for me because I just missed the points.

It wasn’t designed with hero talents in mind so it should be somewhat easier. However scaling is a mess for some specializations so the challenge factor will be very inconsistent between classes.
