This is quite absurd, the last 3 days I’ve killed 400+ of the required elites, I gathered about 20 of the sand keys, but the Domination key is still nowhere to be found.
Is this how it’s supposed to be working?
Because fun it certainly is not.

RNG at it’s finest. Two of my characters got the key without even looking for it, with the third I’ve also killed mobs for hours and nothing… Especially annoying since you need the spatial opener of that chest to get all the sand piles with epix. x.x
its not just you OP… Havent gotten a domination key yet here either.
Get plenty for the Sandworn chests though.
So you can bet i expect whatever is in a domination Cache better reward me some sweet gear or a really high % for Patterns within Patterns and lots of gold whenever if ever I do manage to open one!
Its RNG , i looted it without even knowing what it is for, meanwhile i cant get a single of those clored one hands ( like the one from taza)

On a serious note though, my buddy and I spent long hours doing just the same. Then out of the blue, the key drops for them (not me) off General Zarathura.
Opened it once, never saw the cache on the map again, got a toy, some gold, and armor.
I believe it’s something like a 2% drop chance. RNG is not a kind misstress.
