Although i like pressing many buttons, i can agree with the simplification of the classes so that the game is more accessible to new players, but this go too far with mage removing blast wave is the biggest mistake, ice block healing gone, now just have 1 blink charge and time walk and temporal realignment should´t go in the same node, mass barriers and displacement removed and no more cr for invis and mirror also i think all this is a big mistake
The essence of play mage is in mobility and positioning, and knowing when to use blast wave, learning every corner of the map and knowing where it will be most effective to knock the enemy off a cliff or just to get them off your back is the most satisfying thing. If this is removed mage is going to feel like punching bag for ‘mele’ that can be destroyed with a single hit when you trying to hardcast something that probably won’t even have relevant damage compared to the spells of other ranged classes
