Donations to Ukrainian players

I’d rather afk in Ironforge than play diablo, but yea i will agree to that if you can pick any game and play it. I cant, ive tried all of the “trendy” games but wow is only one that i can enjoy. Its like that childhood friend you can do anything together, and thats important.

The Ukrainians who cross the border and come to my country have more expensive cars than the locals. Quite a few Bentleys and Porsches.

Just saying.

Agree, that’s why I said this, when he mentioned the donation:

Donating to make people’s ability to play wow seems very silly when there are much better Ukrainian things to donate to

shouldnt Ukrainians focus on wining war rather then playing wow ?

we donated enough tanks artillery and weapons to your country already as EU - use them in that controffensive that you promise since january and which didnt start yet.

it was always natural that educated rich people escaped war - while poor and uneducated fought “for the country and ideals” though whole history of mankind.

Totally agree.

Lol btw. as soon as my country decided no money if you have a car sell it first, they mostly left the country and went back or maybe seek asyl in another one.

Hell no… 10 char.

See, there are 1st class crisis regions and there are 2nd and 3rd class regions. You made the mistake to be born in a 3rd class crisis region, so no one would care, even if you drowned in the Mediterranean Sea. You should really have decided to be born in a 1st class crisis region. Because then you would not only get a flat with fitted kitchen and weekly wellness programs for free, but people also would start donation campaigns for you in a games forum, so you can take your troubled mind off reality thanks to luxury gaming instead of not even getting free therapy like those poor devil refugees from 3rd world countries with years, sometimes decades of crisis trauma.

Think about those terms anyways for a second. 1st world, 2nd world and 3rd world. There’s a reason why they’re named like that. Though you usually call it industrial countries, emerging markets and developing regions these days…

there was a time when Blizzard did this donation thing for…uh… I think it was for woman’s cancer research or something, and they would have the players to spend money but the player also gets a battle pet as a reward.

there are some companies that have done this, like Steam where you buy a game and that money goes to Ukraine too, not sure if they still do that now.

irrelevant information

irrelevant information, no one says it is a necessity, you miss the point.

irrelevant information again, everyone knows this. keeping the prices at the low rate till war ends wouldn’t hurt anybody and they probably wouldn’t even notice it while swimming in the gold piles that come from d4.

you’re not the one to decide that. know your place.

they threw out free subs last month as their 99999th attempt to bring old players back, they can do the same for ukraine and way less people would use it so stop saying sh*t like it’s not a charity organisation, it’s called marketing and pr .

Before you can play WoW, aren’t there other things you need? Like a pretty decent PC/laptop and fast internet connection and a copy of the game itself? These cost a decent amount of money so anyone currently playing WoW should be able to stand a modest price increase.

There are many, many people in my country (UK) who simply cannot possibly afford these things, so I am personally not sympathetic towards your ideas.
