When and how did Thrall get his Shaman powers back ?
He lost them in WoD and never got them back after killing Hellscream. He hasn’t used them since then and there has been no story or explanation as too why. Yet low and behold in the final fight against Sylvanas he throws up rock bridges using his elemental powers.
Is there an actual reason in-game or this another of the many many many meh moments that should just be ignored because Activision don’t know their own game.
Somehow, during Torghast and recovering said heroes, he gets his powers back after pleading the ‘elements’ for the umpteenth time just before you come to his rescue, making him cause lightning and weaken his wardens as you pummel them.
After that, he seems to have gotten his powers back more and more. Not sure if there were other key events that led to his restoration.
He talked to his mother and he explained that he felt lost. It appears that Drakka is a good guide to her son. All he did in Sylvannas encounter is making earth ground path. You are not seeing full blown tornados, lava bursts and what not.
So yeah, it’s probably a step towards becoming a full blown shaman as he once was.
