Currently, with the 50% buff we are getting a 1.5 increase in the speed of leveling. However with the incoming xp nerf, levels from 40 to 60 are getting a 50%-75% reduction in xp requirements per level. This is equal to a 2-4 times increase in leveling speed, much much faster than the current 1.5 increase with the buff.
Tldr, if you value speed leveling/efficiency, level to 40-42 and wait for the chromie time/xp nerf that comes at the 15th of November.
Even with all of this, I will wait until Prepatch for levels 50-60 for one simple reason: being able to level in any zone outside Shadowlands thanks to Chrome Time. I don’t even care about the speed, I want to leave Shadowlands zones for good.
In the process of leveling a Paladin and really not enjoying it. (But I like Paladin mogs, so gonna level it anyway). I hope the class gets less dumb at max level, but right now it just feels awkward to play. And that is from someone who mostly plays a MM Hunter. So will do what you suggest.
TBC until the dungeon’s quests are done or til you end up with the long boring ones lol then swap to Wrath. It’s what I do. Cata dungeons are too long and boring imo. and can’t do classic again.
It’s alright, but I still believe Draenor/Legion questing, especially if you party sync with a second account is the fastest. Just with the 50% buff I’m able to level from 10 to 50 with my route in around 4 to 5 hours depending on class and how much time I spend alt tabbed.
