Ideally we keep their pride intact tho, technically the revantusk are also amani but I imagine you mean the zul’aman type more
Then their best bet of survival is under the umbrella of the zandalari empire I think or a branching group of Amani who somehow escape a void corruption (if that’s what they have planned for zul’aman) and help the protagonists cleanse Zul’aman, which the surviving Amani that helped the protagonists then inherit
resets the fued and gives reason for reconciliation with the hordes races
might actually sell it better
something like that?

This is one of those very rare instances when Erevien/Lorcathar is actually right
The Amani were not evil in the traditional sense and even once could argue their war against the Elves and humans were justified, even after the betrayal of the Horde their enmity toward the Horde is understandable
But here lies the problem with them
They not even managed to be the part of the Horde during the War and they not really play well with anyone
Not even other Trolls
Yes, they are not evil in the traditional sense, but they are warlike and xenophobic, clinging to the past because nothing else left for them
Just dreams of the glorious past when they had an Empire and ruins
Nothing more
If the Amani would be able to let go and move on, to willing to accept the Zandalari authority or just accept other races are not necesarily enemies and attackt them on sight maybe they would have a future
This is actually not bad writing, they are not victims of circumstances
The Amani were always like that - rob them of their warlike nature and they wouldn’t be Amani anymore
The warlike nature, agression and ambition are the core part of their idenity
In the Warcraft Universe such traits are only good for the enemy mobs and "villains’ of the story
Now one could say the Eredar were forgiven but this is not enitrely true. Those Eredar who showed remorse got a chance - but the Amani never regreted what they did nor were forced to do those things they did
And as yourself pointed out, their actions were even justificed and noble in their eyes, something they had to and wanted to do

If they aren’t changed for Midnight the only solution to finish their story is all of them being killed. And I really don’t want that for obvious reasons. All playable trolls we have are slim and hunched. The Amani would be a tribe of their kin that is super buff and justifies a new models to make them look appealing with modern graphics.
Ritual sacrifice is pretty heinous.
I’m all for a redemption arc and I actually believe they will join the Horde at some point.
A scenario in which the threat is so big and they’re all going to die, they might be willing to put aside old feuds and unite their forces with the Horde.

The Darkspear did that too before Thrall made it illegal.
Yes, there are not innocent trolls.
Point is anyone can be given a pardon if the situation demands it. The Amani can become normal people too.
I never argued against that.
A bit loaded question
It is part of their relegion
And relegion is usually just evil in those eyes who are not practicing it
The practice is tied to their ways to manipulate blood/life essence (whatever they call mojo, juju or e’ko) unknown to the other races.
They use it for their voodoo mostly.
But first and foremost, they make sacrifices to appease bad spirits.
For example, during funerals, they make a sacrifice as a diversion for the passing of their relative’s spirit.
They also make sacrifices to strengthen their loa.
Thrall has forbidden the sacrifice of “intelligent creatures”, but in essence the practice and the relegion itself is not “evil” nor heinous
Just from the point of view from someone on the slab and under the sacrifical knife…

It wasn’t a question, it was a statement.
Zul’aman became the Byzantium of the wow lore

from what we have seen Blizzard always tries to make new races look as humanoid as possible not counting Vulpera. It seems people love to look “normal” or “slim” when making a new character. The Amani would break out from that scheme since they are even mroe buff then the average Orc. Bad culture aside I say we should give them a chance.
No issues with giving either current troll race forest options. The wide troll look is a classic warcraft appearance.
I have a good feeling about the playable Gnolls and I think they will not be that “humanoid” either
IF they ever become playable
I don’t think the Amani would recive their own unique model, just how the Red Eredar only got… well… a red skin, no wing, no fell cracked hooves, no fel-scars, nothing
And how there are no “lean” Velen-like Draenei either, just those hulking fridges
Or skiny Kul Tirans
The Dracthyr could use some muscles too
The sad part these models are actually in the game just Blizzard adamantly refuses to use it and give it to the players
I remember playing LOTR online and there your character changed looks depending on what region they came from(Eebor, Moria, Lorien or Mirkwood). They could do the same for trolls.
Trolls were like rats and cockroachs. The necessity to eradicate them for build beautiful elvish cities was a good idea
You literally evolved from trolls. If you think that you must hate yourself alot.
Like sapiens sapiens evolved from neandertals and eradicate them
Trolls are savage animals, they need to be slaughtered like animals

And here I thought we were friends due to shared love for blood elves. Silly me.
