Just a tip when you die, don’t transfer to Auberdine.
That server is completely dead. The AH is empty.
There’s 0 chance for dungeoning, let alone raids.
It’s like getting stuck in limbo after death.
Auberdine is French server :=
No wonder it’s empty then. Most non English realms are.
If only there was a way to check the server out beforehand
There is a way! Create a new character on the server and check.
Auberdine was until recently “medium” pop.
And i just checked this morning - about 1000 auctions in the Auction House, and player online on all level ranges.
OFC not that many given the time.
That´s not a mass realm, but it´s not “dead” too (i checked only alliance since Auberdine is Alliance favored, though).
The transfers are there for the french player (or german in regards of Everlook, and so on) who prefer ther smaller realms with a community they can easily communicate with.
For people who did not check the realm before they transfer, there are FCT off Auberdine to Pyrewood.
No need to “warn” anyone about anything.
Almost all but PvP cluster being to Low now. People all going to HC servers
This is the way
To give you a more exact view of what 1000 auctions means on the AH.
It’s only small stuff, items lower than lvl 20 and such.
You won’t find any purples or high lvl gear on the AH.
Not necessary.
I´m playing for a long time now in a realm smaller than Auberdine, usually several hours/day.
You can´t tell me anything i don´t already know, or is completly wrong.
Wrong
There were 3 epics and a dozen blue items, including some 40+ weapons and T0 set items.
Again: I checked Alliance because i expect horde to be way smaller
Even the Firemaw cluster is only medium pop, pretty strange since there is still a lot of activity.
But my guess is too, that many are giving HC a try which makes it even more useful that there are transfers for them back to their main realm(cluster).
Auberdine was medium pop, they didn´t all out of the sudden quit WoW when the HC realms were released. ;o
Not quitting, playing HC. There’s 10 layers to Stitches, and 5 - 8 to Nek’rosh. More than enough for 20 normal-full pop servers
