Doom Winds Feedback PVP

Long time Enhancement Shaman player here, wanting to give some valuable PVP feedback.

Gentlemen! It is a mistake to put Doom Winds on a 1.5 min cooldown!
It feels like a gimp in the class, I was excited for the new expansion up to the point where I saw Doom Winds cooldown is now increased from 60s to 90s.

One of the hallmarks of Enhancement Shamans for three expansions now was to be able to pair Doom Winds with Bloodlust on a 1 min cooldown.

Please do not commit what is known as ein verschlimmbesserung an attempted improvement that only makes things worse

Do not Punish the playerbase for a Mistake You Made! A mistake in EQ-ing the numbers for a Reasonable output.

Please consider reducing damage output from OTHER sources (such as Elemental Blast for example) rather than gimping the class.

Please revert this change so that Doom Winds is to be on a 1 min cooldown!

The cd is fine, they should decrease a little the dmg and increase the duration to 12 seconds

This is a Veteran’s Opinion which is NOT debatable. The only thing TO DO is to make this opinion KNOWN!

Haha well is my opinion, I think 8 sec is bad, because 1 little cc and then you miss your offensive cd… While other classes has 15/30 sec of Burst…

Bottom line stays the same.

And I do not wish to debate this with other players. I only want to use this medium to offer Blizzard my true and honest feedback because I hear they actually listen to it :slight_smile:

Do not tune the numbers in such a way that in order to achieve balance you have to modify core class mechanics. For two reasons, 1. (a subjective reason) It is an unpleasant and unwelcome change, might as well just put Bloodlust on a 1.5 minute cooldown as well and 2. (a technical objective reason) It can negatively impact the Ehnacement Shaman’s level of competitiveness.
We want nice and clean gameplay not Elemental Blasts that crit for 80% of my target’s HP.

I know things are not set in stone and are still subject to change and this gives me some relief. But still, please tune damage output around having Doom Winds on a 1 minute cooldown /flex /cheer.

make it increase the damage of WF by 20% - Nerfing Doom Winds AND forceful winds is sad, WF was amazing on the Beta, now its average

I think the damage is still overpower, so the damage reduction is fine. The problem is the duration, they should rework to 12 sec again, and maybe they can still nerf 10-15% more, as i said before, the damage is ultra fine.
