Dracthyr are still hideous

There is something about their aesthetics and proportions that do feel off…

Which is unfortunate since they clearly got designers that can make some fantastic looking scalies as seen with the sethrak.

But that option exists? While yes, you are put into dragon form whenever you use your wings / breath abilities in enemy’s presence, but whenever the combat would drop after that, you are back in visage. There is a button to toggle this on, and, if you use it, the amount of time you’d spend in your true form would be miniscule, and only at times when you are already distracted.

I will also add that this actually might be a skill issue. While I am absolutely content with how my own dragon looks and I don’t even use visage at all, I encounter so many hideous, mismatched, and borderline grotesque dragons in the world around me, it’s astonishing. Seems like the lack of sense of beauty just goes obvious with some people when they are denied an ability to hide it behind tier sets, slutmogs, or some banal old favourites!

Each to their own… I love being dracthyr.

It’s still funny how blizz is trying to make evokers look cool in trailers. And still failing.

The main problem with dracthyr is that their head and neck is too small, making them look more like geckos than dragons.

Well, because they are not dragons
:person_shrugging:
Not even suposed to be dragons or look like one
They are are their own thing, an ancient race of humanoid dragonkin, like the Taraseks, the Drakonids or the Dragonspawns, but not Dragons, just relatives, like how the Kakapo is the realitve of the Hawk, because both are avians

Okay? Still ugly as hell

Yeah, I love dragons, and I love devoker gameplay, because it reminds me of nice mobas, but boooy… I just can’t look at this ugly scaley creature. It looks like a human wearing a lizard costume. They are just disgusting, and have nothing to do with dragons. Also, it makes me uncomfortable, that their thighs are so thick, and their head so small with a long neck. It’s just an abomination. Then their whole skeleton literally looks like a male succubus. Cursed creature.
However… I really do like their visage form, but since we can’t stay in visage form, it doesn’t matter

100% agree. I’va said that several times.
Why the F make a humanoid looking dragon, if you’re not gonna let us put armor on it? It makes no sense.

I would much rather that the dragon form was an actual dragon, and not this wierd hybrid. In that case no one would be mad about missing transmog either, like nobody ask for mogs in druid forms.

And just a personal grief I have with the dracthyr. I LOVE to just admire my toons in the character screen. Their mogs reflect them. But on my evoker, I’m forced to look at a half a** drake, that -besides it’s staff- looks like it comes straight out of the character creation menu.
Let me atleast look at their visage form on the character screen.

Before the patch I decided to main prevoker. Then they got released, and although I liked the playstyle, I simply couldn’t stand the aestetics.
Such a shame. It had so much potential.

Excuse me but I am flapping magnificent!

I prance, I soar, I glide, I have the best dance animation, and I have never used my visage form. I’m not sure what it looks like. Frankly I’m not even sure what gender it is. Not relevant.

HOWEVER…

I wish I could wear transmog. Really. The customisations are ok, but I want just plain regular gear. Let my wings stick awkwardly out the back of necessary, I’ll forgive it. Or just put some generic cuffs at the base of each wing. Either is fine. But let me wear a damn helmet, gloves, boots, whatever. I’m clearly based on the female worgen model anyway, it is just not that hard :joy_cat:

Hahahah
Yeah, first thing I noticed when playing them as well, I was surprised it wasn’t all over the forums. I actually think you are the first one I’ve seen writing about it lol.
It’s looking literally disgusting. Unimaginable how that got through the design phase.

*body type. Lol.

Originally, I think the intention was that they don’t have one

It really goes to show with modern blizzard that this was the best they could come up with. Not much talent left.

If they have not done it for worgens since cata 9 + years ago they are not going to do it for a new race and class.

Because then it’s just a Human… why would you ever pick Human if they allowed that lol

Dracthyr visage is unique in terms of customisation and overall appearance. It’s not a fair comparison.

exactly the same as you .it would be just a blood elf.

That’s a reach and you know it. Human form is LITERALLY the Human race.

No its the same thing , you just do not like a blunt and honest answer.
