Dracthyr flights

I don’t understand why Dracrhyrs can’t fly normally on and off the islands. It doesn’t sound cool at all. Why complicate things? In general, I’m a little upset. It seems that you have wings, but you cannot fully use them? Why?

Dragonriding, Motion Sickness, & Accessibility

  • Dracthyr will have access to the baseline form of dragonriding using their own wings, but the “upgraded versions that players will earn through dragonriding” will require using the dragon companion.

  • This also allows dracthyr to engage with a dragon companion like every other race, and all the visual customization that comes with it.

  • Dragonriding dracthyr will use their visage (humanoid) form, since “dragon riding dragon gets a little weird.”

  • Dracthyr can fly outside of the Dragon Isles without a mount, though it’s more like an enhanced form of gliding than actual flight.

How? The same druids fly without any problems. Blizz can also add a button for flight to dracthyr.

on the lands of Azeroth, I met small pot-bellied dragons with small wings. And even they can fly!

Yea well they trained realy hard for it .

Idk, druids got their form, which is instant but still a form, to me it would look silly if u just pressed space twice and u float like superman.

Also, we got 3 hero classes now . First one has what ? Special eyes and voices ? Woohoo

Second has a double jump and glide which is omegacool and actualy improve gameplay

Third one will have glide, insta flying(?) And idk what else there is .

What for is DK called hero class then? Maybe give them something to make it more obvious they are hero class.

To me , all those threads rn are like “lets pack anything and everything into this one race/class, and lets forget other 12”

other flightless birds do not have wings capable of actual flight.

Demon hunters have been asking this same thing for 3 expansions and we haven’t had a good answer yet. Wait your turn, please :stuck_out_tongue:

Not everything that has wings can fly. My KFC box is a great example.

Demon hunters weren’t born with wings. And they only have “normal” wings in demon form. During the double jump, a translucent something appears behind the back. Draktyrs are born with wings. And for some reason they can’t use them properly.

To answer the bolded part, there’s nothing ‘translucent’ about DH wings. That would mean you can see through them, which you can’t.

To answer all of it, Illidan is a DH.
Illidan can fly.

Gnomes have short legs, but we move them very quickly!

I think Illidan is constantly in “demon form”
