As you can see dracthyr are official able to fly, why they made this spell and now we cant use it?

I make a point to swap into visage form before I mount up, because I genuinely cannot bare to see the mess that is a Dracthyr riding a mount. Just looks so awkward and clunky.

While druids have instant cast flight form, there isn’t a single reason why Dracthyr can’t. It’s a fantasy game so irl physics is just a hilarious counter argument

Maybe it’s for a later patch? Perhaps when normal flying comes to DF later on 
but it makes more sense now for the pre-patch event that its in old regions where you cannot dragon-riding xD

tbh the answers obvious, but its sad to aknowledge.
If they allow a Auto levelled character of 58 to have this, it makes botters Return after ban faster and causes the problem to cycle faster.
it also means botters are buying boosts to insta level a druid, so less money.
and: People get real mad over the fact druids can do this, so i imagine people only will get angrier if it spreads wider.
i thought they said we’ll be able to fly on day 1 in DF?

Being a demon hunter i don’t mind if dracthyr gets flying ability I would switch right way for a main dracthyr

i just noticed that in-game everyone is complaining about this on chats
I think it’s a compromise between no flying for two patches which player base hates and giving us flying outright in 10.0. People are going to complain about it because you need to work at it but it’s still better than being 100% grounded for a year or more.
From the looks if it the spell was implemented long ago. Which means it was probably just placeholder until they got Soar.
Same with Worgen.
Don’t Dracthyr have an ability to auto turn into visage out or combat, if toggled on?
What in the flying F are you TALKING about? Drakthyr can’t have instant flying button because of risk of BOTTERS? Like that is so far fetched and poor a reasoning that I legit wonder how your brain works. Holy moly.

We badly need this. It makes no sense that Dracthyr rely on flying mounts to fly.
