We havent seen all customization yet. But im 90% sure that I heard in one of the interviews that we will get options to get wider chest etc.
The difference between the official model and the fan model is not very big so I wouldnt be surprised if its already a planned option.
I don’t care if the female form has boobs or not, I just want to play a muscular cool looking dragon like the one I showed at the top that the designer drew. They could keep the female form as this skinny flat chested dragon they already have for all I care.
The only reason I’m asking for male and female forms is because people will scream and cry if they only add male forms only. And to be honest the skinny version now is clearly just a male form, it just looks like your typical skinny man. For an androgynous form it basically still looks like a man. And I don’t care, all I want is a cool muscly version like what I showed at the top to play.
Sadly they mention this in the bellular video I linked, they said the bulkier option is just a tiny bit bigger than the skinny one now and not much difference at all.
And that is just a stretched out version of the one they have shown we have no idea about what things you can or can not change yet no one but blizzard knows at all.
You are literally complaining before you have seen any real information about it.
Art assets like this can be changed or added very late in the process, and it is more so the case if armour is not a factor on the body.
If they have to make armour fit the body then it might be to late in beta but if not it is not even too late to change when it is inside the beta.
We are not even yet seeing Alpha being out yet.
And by the way Bellular has NO information that you or i does not have.
People have showed expamples of what the bulkier version would look like and it ain’t good. I’m suggesting along with others for them to use a muscular form like the design I showed you as one of the 3 choices.
Then why are you complaining that people want more customization options. I’m so tired of people being against more options that cater towards more people other than themselves.
What harm is it when people show blizzard what they would like implemented especially since theres plenty of time to implement them into game since it isn’t out for around another 10 months yet.
You seem to have an agenda against people suggesting what they would like some of these 3 customizations to be. You clearly just like to pick arguments, let people suggest what they want to see done. They can’t wait months and months until they reveal the bulkier version only for it to be dissapointing and then there isn’t enough time to make changes anymore.
If any changes are to be done people have to speak up now.
I’m not missing the point because looking female IS the point. People want there to be a visual difference between the two sexes and not giving the player that in both forms is nothing but pure laziness on Blizzard’s part.
They’re not. The draconic forms are the EXACT same for both sexes. THAT is the issue here.
Quote me where I said I want them to have boobs. Quote me, I dare you.
They already said that no, most armor will NOT show up in dragon form. Only Shoulders, Tabard and Belt will show up.
So again, Laziness.
Yeah, the Dracthyr are a disappointment for sure. Never in my life would I have thought that if Blizzard eventually adds a playable dragon race they make them look like these winged skinks instead of actual, fearsome, bulky… you know… dragons…
The argument that they are HALF-dragons or whatever doesn’t really save the race’s appearance either. They should still look more ferocious and strong, rather than goofy and lanky. They are the “perfect dragon soldiers” after all.
And don’t even get me started at people saying “bUh ThEy’Re CaStErS”. We have other huge races playing as casters. We’re just about to get Tauren mages and Orc priests… I guess Blizzard should deflate them, huh? Yeah, of course not.
I think the Dracthyr model looks cool! I wouldn’t mind the human form being more original, but the Dragon form is perfect.
What’s so perfect about it?
Well look at it. The model itself is very aesthetically pleasing. I am looking forward to being a new hatched Dragon.
As if we needed another furry race in this game anyway
Not going to lie, I want a tough, buff female Dracthyr model. You can make some dimorphic adjustments like giving them wider hips and slightly narrower chest/shoulders, but please, can we have an actually badass, physically imposing female model that isn’t an Orc?
-
Draenei are tall and fit, but they’re an extremely dimorphic species in that the men are walking fridges, but the women are swimwear models
-
Tauren are more cute and cuddly.
-
Night Elves should be physically imposing, given that the women are their fighting force. They could’ve been the buff Jungle Trolls to the Blood Elves’ slender Darkspear. But they’re also lingerie models.
-
Troll women are like Elves, but for people who are into weird feet. Trolls are savage people, let them be a bit more buff! But when they waddle around with their slender frames on their weird big feet it’s just ridiculous
-
Female Worgen are super scrawny. They look massive, but as soon as you take the ridiculously (edit: +oversized) shoulders off they look like literal wet dogs.
I might be in the minority here, but I see the Dracthyr as a chance to have female models that look like absolute units because dragons lay eggs and don’t need to be dimorphic
