Draenei hunter vs orc hunter: how big would the dps difference be?

Yes i know, they don’t belong to the same faction, but I REALLY like doing the most dps possible (going BM obviously), and both races are the best in pve for each faction.

The thing is:

-draenei is really good early on due to the 1% hit but I’m worried that it becomes useless later on with gear and depending on your comp (ff from balance druids for example)

-orc sounds like straight up badassery dps-wise with the +5% pet dmg and the blood frenzy racial (which is like an additional trinket basically).

So what do you think?

NB: truth is, I was thinking about going alliance this time around, just for a little change, and leveling up a draenei during the prepatch would have been ideal…however, if orcs do way more dmg than draenei later in the game, then maybe I’ll have to rethink that…yes, I like polls, I’ll admit it.

Orc clearly, the 1% hit is overrated and won’t help you as much as orc racials in the long run.

That’s what I fear too, too bad, would have been fun to be a draenei.

It’s 1% spell hit orc is better in everyway but then you will play overpopulated faction, will be bad queueing battlegrounds

Tooltip doesn’t mention anything it being spell hit only tho.

I only want to pve with my hunter, I’ll pvp with another class. Hunter in arena is just too tedious.

Actually check the patch of your link patch 2.5.1

Afaik that only affects if your draenei is caster, as you can see on the right panel, “mage, priest, shaman”.
So hunter / melee have different hit chance passive.

Ah right must be it then I was sure I was gonna get spell hit but I planned to play enhancement shaman

Yeah would make more sense than having spell hit only, glad that got sorted out.
