Thank you for being some of the well behaved law abiding players back then The Few stood against The Many (especially the army of 11year old spotty school kids in Pramforge). I recall always calling Ingwe ‘Hail King of All Elves’ (if he didnt have me on Ignore ) Im glad im remembered . Tis better to be loved or loathed than forgotten
After Blizz betrayed the pvp community by releasing the 1st expansion for ages 7 and under where nabs killed a beetle under a rock in 10 secs and got better gear off the beetle than we had worked every day for 1 year for and removing the real time pvp ladder that was enough for me, I went to LOTROL jan 2006. My friends and old guildies said Meliannias all then sprung up on every server and forum pretending to be me, ‘I am Spartacus’ like the devoted deluded person above in this thread. but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery i suppose. i was also told my 212,000 PvP kills on Horde put Underground by the Hammer of Righteous Judgement was still a draenor server record for years after i left in Jan 2006. Gives me a smile of Vindication and Glory.
I thought about returning to classic but it wouldnt have been the same with cheating voice chat and cheating add ons making it joke easy mode, the loss of the mystery of hiding under the stairs in warsong gulch with the flag, or swimming the river at arathi to surprise the afk horde at blacksmith. All those time have been lost, like tears in rain.
Safe travels to you all, old friends and enemies, especially Phillie my faithful deputy and even Pokeydonkey, the jobless filth.
I will lead the charge!
