Do NOT join this guild. The guildmaster and officer is EXTREMELY toxic. He will drag you down into the dirt emotionally because of things he didnt even tell you to do at the first place. And try to argue against him, and his response is to kick you from the guild and discord.

The real story is he missed 4 raids and got removed from the raid team and now he’s lashing out because he didn’t get his way.
Ask anyone in our roster and they will tell you the truth.

He is a manipulative person contacting people in the guild trying to start discussions and put people up against each other.

Quoting to keep this current:

I started raiding with Azeroths Shadows this tier (yeah, not on this character!) and my experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive.

The atmosphere during raids is great, a good balance between chill during downtime (taking the piss out of the officers entirely optional) and focused during progression.

Dread’s approach to raid leading is equally balanced between relaxed and pushy. He usually gives us a few pulls to get the feel for a new fight, and then starts to look at what’s causing deaths and wipes, why it’s happening, and what we can do to fix it and progress further. The focus is on mechanics over logs, and on working together as a team to get bosses down.

I was a little bit wary when I found out that Shadows uses loot council to distribute raid loot because, like most people, I’ve heard stories of raid leaders who either keep loot for themselves or give it to their favourites. What I found is completely the opposite. Loot is awarded to whoever will benefit from it most, with the goal of strengthening the team and progressing further.

Outside of raiding, there are groups running keys most evenings, so it’s easy to get the vault filled, and people are friendly and easy to get along with. Aside from the occasional trial raider who joins and then flounces because we’re not chill enough/hardcore enough (delete as applicable), there’s been no drama.

I joined to progress mythic raid with the goal of achieving my first CE, and I’m happy to say that’s moving along nicely. I’m also having a lot of fun and making new friends, so it’s a win all round.
