5,300 player queue. Okay, I patiently wait the queue.
Queue passes, instant disconnect at the loading screen.
I can’t transfer (you gonna pay for me? I’m not paying 800k gold for two-way transfer tickets even though I perfectly can), I can’t even login into the server to transfer.
I expect this out of Aion which is f2p.
But I don’t have the hope, but the entitled expectation that if I get DC’d, at complete and total fault of Blizzard, that I personally receive priority queue to log back in for AT LEAST 5 minutes after I’m disconnected. Yes, this is my entitled expectation, for me and whosoever gets force DC’d from the game server.
Yes, this NEEDED another topic. Why? Because this time it’s me writing the topic. Next time? Next time it’ll be another player.
PS: The warning of full and high population realms is exclusive to queue times, it does not, under any way, shape or form include or mention any form of server instability, unfair queue systems or otherwise any failures that will invariably happen and for which at fault is the company.
Other realms are fine. I do not know why blizzard do not allow players to move onto smaller realms for free and back again. Sub money is sub money no matter if you play on small or large realms
True, but without said queue your disconnect wouldn’t be noticable as you would hop into the game straight after dcing, now you can’t so the problem is not DC but queue about which you were informed when joining full server.
I could get onto my old realm just fine but the characters I want to level are on Draenor.
Just glad I don’t have to work tomorrow, but this sucks for people with limited play time. A person that works 9-5 is gonna have a rough first few weeks.
Just happened to me as well, 15min queue and then went into character screen, login screen takes 3 minutes and immediately DC’s when you enter the game, aaaaand you’re back in the 6000 ppl queue…
I know, I’d also have to spend 250 euros to transfer all my max level characters, which is ridiculous.
Even if the server comes up, there will be massive latency and hours of queue time. It’s a shame because I really like the expansion so far, but it’s being ruined by a horrible launch.
This Blizzard reply just pours more salt to the wound:
And players that are not affected by it will obviously defend it because apparently, it is the players’ fault for playing on a high population server.
I know, i’m just tired of these topics, i feel sorry for all who can’t participate in shadowlands, but spaming threads one above another won’t magically repair this issue…
