Today I started doing the weekly dragon riding wq and I noticed that after doing 3 races I got only 1 purse as reward. I’m curious if they nerfed the rewards or what since I didn’t find anything in the patch release about this. I tried adding a link to a print screen but I get an error saying that I can’t post links for some reason.

I noticed the same thing. The only reason i bother with the WQ races now is for the gold you get in the purse.
I also noted some other WQ were not giving me rewards shown in tooltips either and there’s loot bugs where i can’t loot some mobs.
Another thing i had was when flying around and picking up the green essence things for the Dreamsurge i was getting spammed by pick ups. As i flew into one it woud give me the loot about 10 times! (made the quest very quick).

I have noticed last week we got 1 purse and 10 dreamsurge coalescence.
but this week it gives no purse but 20 Dreamsurge coalescence.
I was very annoyed I decided to check the 10.2 ptr, the Dreamsurge is the exact same place and it has the exact same world quests on live servers.
but on the ptr I was surprised to find out it works normally and rewards 10 Dreamsurge coalescence and a purse.
Now that you mention it , last week I noticed that I would get dreamsurge coalescence randomly on the dragonriding quests and the purse on every race.
But today it seems I get the coalescence on every race but the purse is random, so whatever they did with the last update they probably switched the rewards.
The way it works is that all the world quests in the Dreamsurge area gives you Dreamsurge coalescence as a bonus ontop of the normal reward.
This shouldn’t effect the base reward but for some reason the dragonriding ones did get effected.
no idea tbh… so far today one minute it shows me 20 essences and an hour later its a dragonriding purse again seems to change erratically i don’t know whats going on here?
Are you in the zone when it shows you dreamsurge as reward?
Cause I noticed it will show you a purse as reward if you’re pretty much anywhere but the dreamsurge zone.
and the second you step in it the reward changes.
I can confirm , when you are in outside the zone with dreamsourges it shows the reward as a normal purse but when you get inside the zone it switches to coalescence.
If it’s a bug maybe it should be resolved when the zone changes in a few days but if my hunch is correct this might be an attempt from blizz to limit the gold people with alt armies make since they have also moved 2 races always in the dreamsurge zone so they cut the gold potential from races by 33% overnight.
I would not mind if they change the rewards for the races to coalescence if the reward was 50 per race for a total of 100 between the 2 races so we can at least get 1 piece of 415 gear every week only with the races. But only 10 is a slap in the face tbh.
