So as we all know in dragonflight there will be this new feature which looks like a big selling point , where u can customize your dragon to fit you and your tmog more. And on top of that those dragons ( i belive those only) will have some extra flying skills which kinda looks cool .
So what will happen to druids? Will those dragons and whatnot be completly useles because of travel form ? Or will they be “forced” to use those dragons which will make their travel form useles .
They already got screwed over with class mounts in legion , i think they deserve something …
At the start the dragon flying will be the only way to fly, so even druids will be using them.
It’s not until a lot later that regular flying will be used, and like druids and flightform, everyone will be able to use all their other flying mounts.
So litle by litle the timegated things show up.
Near the end of the year we might see that Dragonflight might have the same amount of timegate or even more than Shadowlands.
Did you guys really thought that blizzard will go back to simplificate the game like in wrath or tbc?
Its been that way for a while, pathfinder unlocks flying in a later patch, usually 9.2.
Dragon riding will be faster than regular mounts if i recall it correctly.
If you have upgraded your dragon and are good at flying you should be able to travel faster.
but the druid form will allow you to just simply swim effortlessly through the air as usual.
So if you are lazy just use flight form, in a hurry somewhere? Dragon riding.
Travelform will be as useful or useless as it has always been prior to flying unlock. I honestly don’t see your point. The druids running past you in the maw still haunts me.
Listening to interviews it sounds like fully upgraded dragon riding is going to be much, much faster than traditional flying mounts so maybe it won’t be as obsolete as you think.
My point is that you either lose one of your abilities or you cant use that special dragon and everything it comes with .
If that dragon is better/faster and has all those nice things, what for use flying form .
If they are all same, why use dragon , which u pot hours for unlocking and then u can customize it, when u gona use your flying for anyway?
Do you get my point now ? In legion every one got a mount, druids got new form which they cant even use in 90% of content …woohoo what a reward, now same will happen with thoae dragons ?
It has nothing to do with it during locked fying, its after it when everyone can use their fancy dragons while druids are either stuck with their form or forced to use dragon because of higher speed , which makes tarvel form useles af.
They said traditional flying would be added later on, dragon flying is just the initial flying system in place to ‘‘allow’’ for them to design larger zones from the get go.
everyone will be using dragons at the start, everyone has the same conditions. we will still be able to use our swim and stag/cheetah form in water and on ground.
after we enabled proper flying, we will have to choose, just like everyone else, whether we will be using our conventional flying methods or the dragon.
But people would not fly the dragon if you could use your mounts from the beginning. And they would hate if you couldn’t fly at all the entire expansion.
Whatever they do people will get mad or won’t like it. It’s hard to make something everyone likes. And they still have to try and invent new things in the game.
I dont care about not bein able to fly while nobody can .
What i care about is druids either take their form which is one of their iconic spells, but its gona be slower than other mounts there.
Or they gona use those dragons while “loosing” their form.
Idk whats so hard to understand about it .
