Dragonflight Cinematic is the worst WoW Cinematic ever

I disagree. I thought it was good, as do a number of people on this thread.

I disagree, I enjoyed the DF cinematic it gave me more goosepimples than some previous cinematics have.

The latest cinematic is not more mature. It’s literally the opposite.
It’s flashy, look dragons, no substance, no real narrative.
If we are talking maturity in style the ordering of cinematics would look more like this:

1st place is the OG WoW cinematic, it portray a world on the brink, subtly establishing the sides quite nicely using colour palettes.

2nd BFA I although as an expac it was terrible it had one of the best cinematic designs, told a story which people who were not even players could watch and comprehend the narrative.

3rd place is Wrath closely followed in 4rd by BC, while dramatic and abit too edgy they establish the purpose behind the expansion and the urgency of what is to come.

5th BFA I was contemplating saying BFA should be 2nd because although as an expac it was terrible it had one of the best cinematic design

6th is joint Cata, WoD, Legion and Shadowlands since they follow the same structure.

7th MoP tried slapstick childish humour into the fight doesn’t make it bad as a cinematic but the least artistically mature.

8th Dead last would be the new cinematic. Colour palette and art style alone are incredibly childish. To the point that myself and friends thought the release stream had hit an ad for a phone game like clash of clans or something. The story telling is also basic, it’s not mature narrative to silently have a large character lumber about. There was no reasoning behind the wakeup there was no reasoning behind what he was doing they didn’t establish anything through the cinematic, it was basically stone guy does thing oooo look dragons go rawr.

I think the worst cinematic by far was the MoP one, just an orc and a human fighting and then a panda comes and joins in. Insanely bad.

This Dragonflight one was okay in my eyes, was interesting I liked it. Then again I didn’t like the Wotlk one either, just Arthus on a mountain does nothing then stabs the ground and a big dragon pops out and roars and flies off.

Vanilla and TBC were the best cinematics.

Maybe, they could have done much better, but I like it. So yeah all of cinematics are better than the last cinematic. My reaction was not high when I watch first time anyway.

feel the hatred of 10,000 years!!! honestly i wonder how much retcons there will be in this because there are already some inconsistencies from what tiny we know
