[Dragonflight] Condemn for Fury

I think it would be pretty awesome to carry on Condemn for both specs in the next expansion.

Even though it is not viable in Shadowlands, I do love Venthyr and I think everyone here would agree that it shouldn’t be an Arms exclusive option.

Also, revert the nerf on the charging execute PvP talent (Death sentence) would be awesome as it is a very fun talent, unplayable in its current state.

I’m curious to hear you guys opinions on this.

Cheers

I still play Venthyr Fury in SL because of my love for Cendemn. To open the rotation with that hard hitting (feels like it) ability is just epic.
Was really hoping to see it coming back for DF in Fury. Might decide if I’m gonna play Fury (or WoW in general) depending on this.

Rest of DF looks fun tho.

It does bro, except this one single detail.

I totally agree with you, let’s hope it gets changed !

So you would stop playing just because of one single spell? Weird flex but ok.

There is probably a balancing reason why it’s only avaiable to arms. Execute is kinda a different spell for Arms and for a Fury warrior. Fury Execute generates rage so it might be a bit too powerfull to get so might rage right away when you start a battle.

Wasn’t trying to flex or being edgy / dramatic. Just that I liked this one feature loads. When I learned it wasn’t coming to Fury I looked for other classes (old alts) for a possible future main. Tried them and got bored and ran back to SL Fury.
I’m Just playing casual for fun and if I find my alts boring and Fury less fun I might quit after a couple of weeks into DF.

So again no threats of ‘Blizz fix my class or else’ but merely a view from a casual player that everyone might play and enjoy the game in a different way.

Not viable? In aoe it falls behind spear of bastion, but in terms of st, it’s actually the best.

I would actually not want it into the fury tree…
Right now there is a clear indication and separation on the core mechanics for Fury and Arms.

Arms has the hard hitting but “slow” mechanics including Execute.
Fury has the lesser hitting but “faster” pased mechanics.

It is already bad enough that Fury has access to Avatar.
I would love for both Arms and Fury to be able to use Bladestorm.
Avatar to be only for Arms+Protection.

It does not make sense to me that a warrior using two massive weapons can’t “Spin” to strike multiple opponents continuesly but can use Whirlwhind.

I’d like to see it the other way round, as momentum carries Bladestorm but too stop spinning after one 180 degree turn with two massive weapons is extremely awkward…

That would be Night Fae “Dreamweave” in ST situations.
As Fury you could pretend Necrolord is a choice aswell, if you want to be more conciderate towards your group/raid members.

Dreamweaver all the way for ST Situations if you are playing Arms. No exceptions. Ever.

It has been long long long since Venthyr was actually the best choice.

I recently started playing Night Fae for both M+ and Raiding and I am loving it more and more.

Korayn works like a charm for Arms in AOE situations, added with the Fated mechanic I sometimes hit 80% crit!

I believe Condemn during SL was designed to be balanced for Fury anyway, as it is way too expensive as Arms (I don’t think any arms warrior has ever played Venthyr competitively).

So, to me, it does not make sense to keep going this way for Dragonflight. I believe that, if it remains as it is, the Arms condemn will be a dead talent for the whole expansion (just like fury’s “Seethe” has been during SL, for instance).

well, there is no hard hitting execute as Fury, so i dont know what you mean. But if you mean to use Execute way more often, i agree its fun.

Yeah I am kinda disappointed as well not seeing Bladestorm for Fury but, I do think it has always been Arms’ signature spell and I guess it is ok like this.

But Condemn was a fresh and awesome addition to Fury’s gameplay. Would be too bad to give up on it already.

Haven’t played a lot of Shadowlands since season 1 but I loved Condemn as an ability, big fan of it with both with Arms and Fury. I think Arms was kinda junk as a gameplay design in SL though so less relevant.
