Dragonflight has been very enjoyable

It’s the only expansion during which I’ve been active all seasons. I haven’t skipped a single one, and I’ve been having fun all the way through.

TWW looks like it’ll be even better. I am most pleased with the current state of the game. There’s very little to complain about.

I think Cata is the only expansion where I skipped seasons, well all of them. I skipped the expansion after trying first season :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

For me it’s BFA.
GCD on Soothing Mist and even more pruning after Legion? No PvP templates AND no PvP vendor?
I skipped the whole thing, didn’t even give it a shot.

I’m going to do something controversial and agree with Slapface for a change.

BfA and legion were 2 best expansion this game ever had from pve perspective.

I can agree with that, my favourite dungeon is from Legion (VOTW).
But they completely neglected PvP, and they really didn’t have to. We’re so easy to please - and no, that’s not a joke.

Bro spent like 3 expansions straight hating the game and when he finally gets an expansion he likes, he’s sponsored?

Lol ok.

For me, dragonflight was a very empty expansion.
The little it offered wasnt all that bad or anything, but i had little reason to play more than once a week.
I hope tww fixes the empty and lacking world.
Delves might help with this but im not sure yet.

More like two expansions straight.
I heavily disliked Legion and BFA, but I rated Shadowlands a B-tier expansion. It was okay.

Legion BAD
BFA BAD

SL Okay-ish

LOOOOOOOOOVE Dragonflight

I see

For once Slapface says something good that I can agree to…

AAANNNDDD here comes the controversy.

Opening up the popcorn. This one is gonna be good.

Yup if you hate the game your honest if you enjoy the game your a shill

Have you gone back and done the story, though?
I had a break when you had to do a raid to unlock the Zandalari, out of protest. I really liked the rest of it though (not you Mechagon).

I jumped 9 months in DF. Probably it was for the unappealing story and profession mess. But after i came back i enjoyed it.
Better than SL (the most weird thing is i played sl for the entire span… maybe caused by a sort of stocholm syndrome).

I would agree with OP, for me it’s the first expansion I play from release until now without pause, without unsubscribing and burn out.
It still has a lot of problems, like story is only meh, PvE could be much better organized (please, no manual group forming in 2k24 ffs), many annoying bugs…
But in general it’s very enjoyable, with so much air to breeze, no stupid AP farm, easy gear progression. Hope they will not start to bloat WoW with lot of systems again in TWW.

I’m not saying anything new.
My full reasoning for this was explained here: 🩸 The definitive expansion tier list

Not really. I’ve lost interest in the lore a while ago, everything feels meaningless these days.

Lol since SL I have not been active in this game which I have been subscribing for almost 15 years before. The game is so dead and empty with developers not even listening to the players.

I skipped half WoD. And played SL only month when I quitted and skipped all SL’s patchs. Since I hated it.

Now I enjoyed DF so much, yeah! I wished TWW come close DF

I think dragonflight has been fine…
No more no less.

The fact that you only ”need” to log in once for weeklys has been nice.
No pressure on dailies or missing out if you miss one day but that also had me feeling like there was nothing to do besides mythics.

Usually enjoy achievements but in DF there are to many that are timegated and rng/rare spawns imo.

I can see that I may sound mostly negative above but the expansion had me feeling
”meh”
