Even a coming faction merge shouldn’t remove the possibility of world pvp/pvp mode, but it would become all vs all rather than faction based.
Factions being merged In PvE does not mean there won’t be pvp content. The issue is that the Alliance is overall completely depleted in terms of population so good luck finding Alliance players doing pvp…
