I personally find the complete invalidation of previous content a mistake on blizzards side, overworld as well. Just how much resources have they had to put into time-walking dungeons because the scaling is all over the place? A lot of work that has to be repeated, every expansion.
Hadn’t they committed to the unsustainable level increases a lot of those resources could have been put to use on new content instead. It would have been a win-win.
More resources for new content and more content for us enjoy while they work at it, rather what we have now which is a handful of dungeons and three raids because the last 15 years of content has been invalidated.
Would have loved to see tinker too seeing how they are the most portrayed non-playable “class”, but dragon-something was a close contender… Albeit without this stupid race locking.
I don’t view it that way because of the way I play the game.
Old content becomes content I can solo and now farm for stuff.
So to me it doesn’t become invalidated. If raids and dungeons would stay current, THAT would make it invalidated for me because then I’d never get to see all of it.
I totally understand that someone who is/was hyped for a dragon-y race/class could be disappointed with what we got. I just don’t belong in that category of players, so to me it doesn’t have much to do with the expansion; to me the Envoker is maybe a couple hours of new content when I roll one to do their starting area. But I don’t plan on leveling one beyond that.
I’m more concerned with them improving world content and such. And they said to be doing so. So I’m hopeful that DF will be good.
Well maybe not ‘as they are now’, but I’m completely okay with that because those are not the things I’m interested in. If I were, I’d be doing them when they were current.

Be glad that the horde are a rich faction, all allied races are reskinned, but vulperas (Horde) are not, they are cleary a brand new race, it’s time for alliance to have sethrak

They must immediately cancel classic/tbc and stop feeding us old content as " Ultra fun expansion comin" blabla. The must be a man and make a single good game! I waited all saturday for an arena mate nobody came… This is going bad
