May be something to this, because I logged in after the server reset yesterday on EU and the lag was almost gone. Probably due to barely any players online
The stuttering issue is still very much there. It seems however to be somewhat alleviated by turning ingame sound completely off for some reason. If you turn the game sound off and relog. It seems to be a bit better for some reason.

guys just unsub,this expac is a fail.
plenty games to play,days gone,witcher 3,gta v,cs go,kingdom hearts 3,final fantasy 14 and remake 7,forza horizon 5,nfs unbound,metal gear solid phantom pain,sifu,ashes of creation,all play stutter free and incredible performance just to give some examples of good substitute to wow right now.
AmazingâŠTurning sound of and relogging fixed much of the stuttering for me, there is still a bit in Valdrakken but almost gone when dragonriding and so on. Surely this cant be so hard to fixâŠ
Everyone needs to report this to Blizzard so we get this fixed

Did you only uncheck enable sound or everything?
Unchecked enable sound and relogged. Fixed 90% of my stuttering. But who wants to play without sound 
Somebody in the US forum suggested that disabling sound is only working for ppl who bottlenecks cpu when playing WoW but thats bs. A Ryzen 5600X , 32gb ram and a 3080. The CPU is hardly the bottleneck at 1440p. So its blizzards fault 100%, didnt have a single stutter before dragonflight
Your CPU is bottlenecking in spots with many players and mobs, just look at your GPU usage in those moments and you will see.
Even with a 5800X3D im heavily bottlenecked with a raid or even several raids around me.

The stutter we talk about in this thread had nothing to do with that. Itâs totally random and happens at lowest graphics. Itâs due to that Blizzard or Nvidia or Microsoft or all three mest up something. I donât experience this in any other game
It has nothing to do with the stutter problems but you said your 5600X is not bottlenecking, it is very often if you are doing dungeons, raids, world bosses etc.

I have this exact problem still. Thank you, I felt so lost, I tried everything, nothing worked. Good to know itâs not my pc.
Must be fun to find out that these issues exist on every rig you build, your bug reports are much more valuable cos of this cos they are fact checked 
Blizzard can spin it the other way, and say that itâs all the hardware/OS companies that is at fault here. You know like when they investigated themselves and didnât find any wrongdoing?
I think this says enough about state of wow and activision blizzard as whole
Everyone i asked to analyze wait chain report the same deadlock can also happen on faulty hardware im pretty sure everyone has this bug or atleast a lot of users enough to say that its not hardware issue related
Btw its a resource conflict guess what also requires resources.
Memory storage gpu etc.
Stuttering coincidence i think not.
Not to mention reports of system freezes shutdowns restarts etc altho those could be AMD fault as well cos their drivers are abselutly trash right now.

Yeah it should not even be reporting deadlock and it does this for all Activision Blizzard games atleast Blizzard games on the new taskmanager it wont report any cpu usage in details tab it just says 0% i wonder what sort of problems this can lead tho oh i know system freezes⊠
and probably stuttering and other issues as well related to resources.
When did it start and is there anything that runs well on your PC?
I dont know when the deadlock appeared i think it has been there for atleast a year maybe longer.
system freezes tho i think it started since may but only in world of warcraft i can run benchmarks fine even for 24 hours no problem, im not sure if i ever had system freeze on old drivers just gpu driver crashes so far, the game is being problematic with resources so wouldât surprise me if the issue is the game.
Im used to seeing graphic glitches cos if seen the same graphic glitches on my old gpu as well even being reported by others,
This is why i do not trust Blizzard on whole stuttering freezing issue either, usually i have no stutter but at times when i have there is a lot of popping inâŠ
Nothing worse than having only one game acting up.
