According to system requirements DF will take up 128GB of storage space (way more then I have left on my computer!).
Does anybody know if this is including the previous expansions and base game or is it 128GB for DF alone? (it seems alot if this expansion is bigger then all the others put together!)
Probably requires that much space during installation for temporary files etc.
Holy smokes, I hadn’t realised it needs 128GB.
And from what I recall from previous “problems”, their installer INSISTS on caching the temp files on C:, and ignores any D: or E: partitions or disks. Even if C: is tiny (250GB) and D: is massive (8TB) like my system.
I guess I better free some space on my C: in preparation.
It’s total size for everything. Each expansion adds it own assets.
ah, I thought that was more likely…I might just be able to squeeze this expansion in then!
For SSD drives you need some free space available for the drive to function properly. > 200GB drives can fit it but I would be looking at 512GB one just to be safe or when the SSD has WoW + Windows + other stuff.
