Dragonflight Warmode Improvements

I will say only this: World PvP Rewards, Incentives and Server Tech has to be improved. You put Warmode on, go any area and empty it is. Deserted. Wasteland. Dead.

I don’t know what`s going on in your Realm, but on High Pop Realms like Ravencrest, Outland, Kazzak, and so on there is almost constant fighting in the open world.

My only issue is how the Servers calculate the Bonus, even if you’re on the Low Horde realm Alliance still gets it because it’s Eu wide not Cross realm wide.

Some rewards could be added and some PVP quests like the ones in Legion or something expanded on those sure :D.

I have no idea either. Laughing Skull does not even have its own forum section. Im guessing Im sitting in on disconnected dead realm with less than 100 people online on daily basis.

Besides its not like Im going to put WM on with this gear until DF hits anyway. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No endgame lvl things like faction assaults and nazjatar world pvp, what do you expect? On top of that weeklys are only handed out if warmode gives 20% bonus.

Absolutely no incentive to do wpvp whatsoever…

Add events and rewards at all times and you will see a change.

BfA did the groundwork for that, and SL missed the opportunity to expand on it.

warmode shouldve never existed.

We need proper PvP servers or improved WM where you can actually find people roaming around the world.

I’ve always thought having an item that, when used, pops up all enemy players as pins on your map would be incredibly useful. I have spent countless times scouring land in order to kill x number of opposing faction for quest purposes. Having said item will only encourage further engagement.

No and again no. War mode has been a great addition to the game. It lets players who want to pvp do just that. It’s 1000 times better than pvp grief servers. Now if you get griefed it’s only your fault and nobody else’s.

Whose fault was it if you decided to roll on a PvP realm? It was always your fault, people just failed to accept responsibility and cried “I didn’t think PvP meant I was gonna get ganked!”.

Anyway on topic: noticed the WPvP achievements for Dragonflight, glad Blizzard did not forget about WPvP.

Completely different prospect. Warmode you have to commit like 2 minutes between switching on and off. A server is something entirely different. You might be on a server that changes from being balanced to being completely overrun by the opposite faction over the years. Should you throw away all your characters because the game becomes unplayable for you based on a choice that is no longer valid, because you had no way of knowing what will happen in the future?

Opt in-opt out benefits every single player except for griefers who want to force ppl into getting spawn camped until they quit the game. Don’t get me wrong, I pvp in the open world A LOT. And I camp people. And I get camped by people. But the current system is miles better than pvp servers. Anyone who wants to participate can, and anyone doesn’t want to, can leave at any time. More flexible gameplay is always a good thing.

Warmode is dead for PvP players in DF. PvE bozo’s will be waiting for us in levelling zones or outside Cities to 1 shot us.

Blizzard pours the wine with into your cup and then judges you for drinking.

Now that Warmode will be viable with PvE gear as well it will be chosen by more people.

IMO, DF has improved Warmode!
