Am I the only one who think dragonflying is annoying? I hate having to wait for vigor since its so slow. Hate seeing a rare spawn and im all out of vigor, not being able to reach it in time.
I also like mining and herbing and that is very annoying to do with dragonflying since I have to land every second by the amount of herbs/mines in dragonflight. And I quickly run out of vigor while doing this.
If we are getting dragonriding next expansion please buff vigor ALOT and make herbing/mining less annoying with it.
I did some herbing on my druid alt in outland and that felt so good not having to wait all the time for vigor.
They did buff vigor a little but its nowhere near enough. We quickly run out of it if we stop to mine/herb. I have gold in most dragonraces so im not that bad at flying either.
A lot of people are annoyed by dragonfalling, you’re certainly not alone in that regard. We are getting the option on how we want to move through the air starting with next patch though it seems. For me personally it’s 50/50. Sometimes I prefer flying, sometimes I prefer dragonfalling. There’s never been an expansion before where I’ve used taxis this much however.
Honestly, I am more curious as to whether we will get dragonriding in further expansions. I suspect not. I am definitely for the introduction of normal flying and believe we should have had that from the start, mainly due to accessibility.
Dragonriding is a pretty successful feature overall so it would surprise me if they decide to drop it. I assume they’ll change the name to not associate with dragons once DF is over and add animations to some existing mounts so they can use it.
Dragonriding is a cool and fun feature IF its handled properly. The dragonraces would be more awesome if they remove some objects that stand in the way like trees and sticks. But they need to make it so it has alot less downtime and I also think it should be faster to get high speeds.
Like now if you are going at full speed and bump into a tree or a stick you lose all speed. It should be faster to get to high speeds after this imo.
And what metrics do you use? How do you know if it’s succesful or not? I personally hate it so much, I even don’t wanna renew my subscription. And yes, I know how to do it properly, got all achievments etc.
I hate the fact that devs restricted to use normal flying and our collections of mounts in new expansion. No one asked for it. Option? Maybe. Why force us to do it?
it’s fun but i hate waiting for vigor to refill and i really don’t like that we can’t stay in the air . you have to make sure that you’re in a safe zone before going afk
Do make sure you’ve gathered all the glyphs, it’s much improved when you can unlock the full tree.
I don’t like DR but that’s because it makes me feel ill. I get motion sickness.
I’m not sure what they plan next expansion. On the whole DR has been well received so I think it’s likely they’ll carry it forward. Though some people are sick of the sight of the same few mounts.
I really hope that Dragon Riding remains a Dragon Isles feature and is only used for these Continent Cup races.
When normal flying comes and players try to get around Dragon Isle they will find that even more annoying than Vigour since the zones are so big. It’ll take 10 minutes to fly accross O’Hanrahan Plains.
I don’t want another expansion with zones designed around Dragon Riding. I want zone design to go back to Wrath - MoP type construction.
