Dragonriding and Soar

How do you feel about soar restrictions now that everyone can taste Dragonriding on it s own ?

To be honest, it is not AS bothering that I thought it would be. It is very useful to fill up some gaps due to poor vigor management, the cooldown is pretty low fully upgraded, and even 3 minutes cooldown with familiar sky outside of DI is pretty acceptable, since it is the only way of dragonriding outside of the isles.

But at the end of the day, shouldn’t Dracthyr be allowed to soar like worgens do run wild ? Soar is already 300% slower at max speed than Dragon Riding, and it s fine imo. I do not really feel the difference. Also, and to me it would be something to consider even before removing cooldown, why Dracthyr could not benefit from some type of vigor ? Since they have the visual, the buff icon,… I would like These abilities to have a cooldown that is activated at full speed, allowing to keep flying with a particularly good momentum management.

But what do you think of this ability ?

Soar is already 300% slower at max speed than Dragon Riding

The first dragonriding talent also makes soar the same speed as dragonriding while in the Dragon Isles.

In fact Soar is affected by a few talent (albeit differently), and note that it is only effective in the Dragon Isles, anywhere else it works untalented. These mainly include reducing its cooldown, but also allowing to utilize the upward gusts when those are unlocked.

The Dragonriding Skill Track will now confer some benefits to Dracthyr Soar while the Dracthyr player is inside the Dragon Isles

• Drake and Rider Training has been renamed to Take to the Skies and also increases Soar’s max speed to match that of Dragon Isles Drakes
• Dynamic Stretching, Restorative Travels, Yearning for the Sky each reduce the cooldown of Soar by 40 sec, reducing it to 2 min with all of these traits
  • Together with Dracthyr’s Familiar Skies, this results in a possible 1 minute cooldown
• Winds of the Isles, once unlocked, also affects Soar

If we talking about Dragonriding is strange that our dragon can lift up only few times. Or meybe my dragon is ill or weak…poor dragon…can only glide like Pandaren’s kite Any vet here?
