Dragonriding - Cloud Serpent Customisation

Hello,

Having seen some of the features of Dragonflight (DF) via YouTube, I can’t help but find myself being reminded of cloud serpents in Pandaria. I thoroughly enjoyed the cloud serpent quests, of raising your own serpent, and believe that dragonriding would lend itself well to a sort of continuation of this. Therefore, I would like to see a cloud serpent customisation option for our dragons in DF.

We seem to have dinosaur customisation options for our dragons with the Velocidrake, so a cloud serpent option might not be too far-fetched. Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

I am not sure where to post this, so forgive me if this is incorrect. I was unable to post in regards to the Dragonflight alpha, and could not find a post related to this when searching, so I figured I would post here.

I think it’s a great idea. The more base models we have to customise, the better as far as I’m concerned.

I’m really hoping for class specific customisations, maybe frostwyrm’s for dk’s etc.
But yeah, more options overall to make them feel totally unique to us would feel fantastic, and I’m really hoping they let the art team go to town on player character models soon.

I half expected people might not like the idea of it, given that cloud serpents technically aren’t dragons, or that there would be some other lore reason to object. Very happy to see people genuinely positive towards the idea of customisation in this way. Hopefully we see something like it as a result .

Would be nice, the cloud serpent plot storyline was fun. :slightly_smiling_face:

I would like them to do something similar in DF, where you hatch your baby dragon and then train it until it becomes a standard mount.

Then I can kill it and raise it as a frostwyrm :smiling_imp:

Honestly I really want them to go AAAAALLL the way on customization, like, let us have some kind of goblin machine that resembles a dragon
