Hi all. Just yesterday I easily flied over Dragon Isles and didn’t have any problem with movement speed, vigor regen that gave me possibility to fly just non stop (great feeling) and gather the recourses. From today I have strong feeling that there was “hidden” nerf of vigor regeneration and now I can’t fly through the location without waiting of energy is enough to move.
Am I wrong, does someone else have the same feeling? Mb I missed patch note changes or this is another bug and some talents doesn’t work?
I don’t think so, but oddly enough some dragons feel better than others. The blue one I can stay in the air indefinitely no problem, but the bronze seems to lose momentum really quickly and I fail to get the speed buff that restores vigor at times. Perhaps it’s just the shape of the dragon and the tilt angle feels different or something, but it just seems off.
It is absolutely crucial that you maintain very high speed, because that’s where the regen comes from. I generally recommend using soar combined with looking slightly down, even when trying to gain altitude. I seem able to reach any height when doing this.
Hm. I look straight UP, then hit Skyward Ascent 2 or three times, then enter either a shallow angle down, or a full-on dive to gain speed. Never fails me, though the swooping can get a bit tedious.
Tried again and again flying as “usual” - have strong feeling that Trill effect is was decreased. Now flying up the hill or on a short distance feels frustrating.
Might have to do with animations, size and camera position making it harder to judge your angle.
For example when racing, I can easily see in front of me when riding highland drake because it sits lower on the screen at high speed, but I crash a lot with cliffside wylderdrake because it sits closer to the middle and obscures my vision.
This was a game changer for me! I never run out of vigor now on long flights, only time it happens is if Im trying to find a location and as we cant hover I have to swoop back and forth.
Im mainly using green birb dragon and he feels fine…
Yeh I had the same a few times, but I think it´s just server lag that causes it. Hunt going on in a zone for example, I got moved in a different shard mid hunt and it was fine afterwards.
Haha, for me it’s the complete opposite The bronze one is fast, and the blue one is like a flying wheelchair. It’s probably just me being used to the bronze one, and you being used to the blue one tbh
