Hello. Just wondering what ya all think about the new class, both healing and dps wise.
I got some mixed feelings about the Drakthyr, playstyle / fun wise.

the only bad part about evoker is, healing
because 25 yards and cannot engage far
It’s 30 yards, and I have barely felt any different to playing any other healer honestly.
And to the OP. Probably the most fun I’ve ever played in 15 years once I got the hang of the spell interactions. And I’ve pretty much exclusively played healer for that entire time.

Ive never been a huge fun of casters but evoker is by far my least favorite currently in game.

I found their flying fun, feels like a light version of dragon riding with more restrictions and not as great as that. But it’s ok for what it is.
I understand it can’t be too powerful (like less CD on the ability) and they would need dragon riding to be a better option for Drakthyr.
Its not something that i could see myself playing.

Drakthyr could have done with not looking so childish. But I’ll add, they do look cute and funny. We’ll see.
I guess the gnome is no different, but it does have the more human thing going for it that grounds the gnome from being too childish somewhat. It’s definitely tricky for an artist to get a playable dragon looking somewhat humanoid without it looking silly, but I still feel there could have been some minor adjustments to give them more of a gritty look.
Things can change though, races in WoW have been modified before.
Yep, I’m having fun with it. Much more than I did in beta where it felt weak and squishy. Seems to be the class I was hoping for.
My problem is, that i keep compering the Drakthyr to other classes, such as Resto druid and resto Shaman. Healing wise. Cuz i love healing aswell.
Been trying out my Dragon in some dungs, i like the heals, but for some reason it feels clunky to me. But that might have something to do with my talent choises 
.

Only tried the healer spec but it’s pretty fun for me so far - I usually play melee so the 30 yard range thing hasn’t been a huge issue for me atm.

I love them. I dont usually play anything but hunters but the playstyle is alot of fun.
Def think my Evoker is going to be my no1 alt going into DF.
Unlike DH, Dracthyrs are cheaply made up and didin’t exist before Dragonflight.
DHS on the otherside have existed in lore for a long period.
I cannot get over how silly and goofy they look and run. So will never play in any high capacity.
That said, in terms of playstyle, I quite like it but then I have to step back and think “Do I like it because it’s good or just because it’s something new/different?”.
You see the same spells and things from all classes and they are ingrained in your mind over the years, there’s something to be said that anything that is different amongst the monotony triggers some positive feeling.
