Drama Cats is an old guild revived with fresh air in our lungs. We started on Draenor in MoP where the guild was founded by players that had been playing together since TBC.
The aim was to create a “home” feeling which most guilds aim for, but we actually succeeded. Though the guild has changed server and been on ice for some time, original members are still in contact despite many having quit the game completely and scattered all over.
In Drama Cats, 1.0 people found friends for life and fell in love with the game all over.
We want to keep building on the community feeling where you log into the game to be met by friends.
As we have just revived the guild, we also don’t have a lot of members yet which is important to keep in mind. We will be putting our full effort into recruiting, starting now, to first of all build a raid team. Then to find more like-minded people, both raiders and socials.
We are trying to cater to the Mon-Fri working people who are too old and tired to raid on evenings during the week when they need to get up early for work.
Raid days are.
Friday: 20:00-23:00
2nd day to be confirmed
Server time.
Even though we have done mythic raiding in the past we are aiming for Heroic raiding at the most and M+.
There might be a wine night here and there, and you might log on finding yourself in a random place at times.
What we are looking for in raiders:
- People who can commit to raiding two days a week, show up 10-15 min before the raid start prepared with flasks/potions/food and lets-do-this spirit.
- People who are patient, respectful, and have a sense of humor. We will wipe, so to not demotivate the rest of the team it is important that you don’t call people out if they make mistakes (talk to the raid leader) and that you can shake it off and get back on the unicorn.
- Know your class and know the fight. We can point you in the direction of fight guides, and the raid leader will be there with reminders during fights. If you are new to a class or there will always be the possibility for alt runs while getting used to the class.
- Be able to take constructive criticism, while raiding the aim is to progress. If the raid leader feels like a player can improve on certain aspects, they will let you know. But not by naming and shaming.
What we are looking for in all members:
- Be over 20 years old.
- Be kind, not just to the other members of the guild. While wearing the guild name over your head you represent us as a whole. Do so with respect toward other players.
- Humor, we all play to have fun above all else.
- Don’t be a stranger, join in on group activities and engage with the rest of the guild. There is no way of being anonymous here.
- Join our discord channel and show pictures of your pets if you have any.
- As we value personality over gear we will be wanting a chat with you before joining. We are not one of those guilds that will invite anyone at any time. That defeats the purpose of being a community. We might ask you invasive questions.
