It happened so, that I was unable to play WoW since oct.18 to feb.19, and that means I missed an oportunity to get elite dread gladiator set, since 1st season is over now, and I only got somewhere around 1700 before I left the game.
However, there is also a non-elite dread gladiator set in the game, and it’s still available in the in-game Atlas (which means it’s still obtainable, I suppose).
So, the question is - how to obtain this non-elite set? Actually, I need only shoulders, since I have all other pieces from elite set - common 7th legion shoulders, unfortunately, doesn’t match the colours of elite set.
In Legion there were few vendors in Dalaran, and it was possible to obtain a set from previous season for pvp-badges - however, vendor in pvp headquarters in Boralus doesn’t have any sets available for purchase.
Unfortunately, despite it not being mentioned as limited time, ANY piece of the pvp sets are unobtainable right now. Whether you’re talking about the aspirant gear, or gladiator. The only equipment you can still get is the Warfront version. There are no equivalent to the Legion pvp vendors. That being said, if memory serves those vendors back in Legion were added in 7.2, so we might see them eventually.
Thank you! Yeah, that’s pretty sad - hope Blizzard will add it to vendor. If I’m not mistaken in Legion you were able to obtain even elite sets from previous seasons for tokens, gained via obliteration of elite pieces from current season
True, but it was a different system (and better currently to be fair). In Legion Gladiator pieces (even Elite) were absolutely random, and many players complained that no matter how much they played and deserved it, they couldn’t complete the set due to RNG not being on their side. So they added the possibility of obliterating their gear to buy guaranteed pieces. Even later (if memory serves) they added a full-set vendor for previous seasons’ transmogs (including the Elite ones, but they required 2000 rating of that season to buy them)
I’m still hoping that Blizzard will add them to the vendor. I need a chest piece from Aspirant on my Paladin to complete the transmog I made. And despite my best efforts it never dropped.
Still I think the pvp loot has to rethinked. I sometimes win multiple times and see no gear. And then on the other character I lose multiple times and each time get a piece of gear. That realy feels bad getting more rewards for losing than for winning.
