Just started a new druid and started the levelling process in Legion.
I’ve just collected the Scythe of Elune but notice I don’t have dreamwalk to return back to the Dreamway. Normally there is a spell.
But I don’t have it and nor do I see it in my spellbook. Doesn’t even show that it is unavailable. I’ve looked ni both Druid & Balance Spellbooks.
Is this intended and has been removed? Is it gotten at a later point? (I remember we had it straight away) Or is it a bug?
You unlock it pretty earlie in the quest line where you need to enter the emeral dream.
I guess it was on level 11-13
Dreamwalk replaces the Teleport: Moonglade ability. Before pre-patch, we got that ability at level 14 (and so should get it at around level 7 now), however due to the way Blizzard have messed with the skills, we now get that ability at level 22 instead for some reason.
I am unsure if this is intentional or not, but I highly doubt that it is.
Yeah and after i reach lvl. 22 with my Druid i only get teleport to Moonglade. No teleport to Dreamwalk, even i finish the quest.
Currently, the only way to get [Dreamwalk] is to level to at least 22 in another expansion and then go Legion.
That is because of how to spell works. It “upgrades” [Teleport: Moonglade], so if you don’t have [Teleport: Moonglade], you won’t get it. And what’s worse, once you get [Teleport: Moonglade] it doesn’t upgrade on its own if you already did the quest.
And for whatever reason [Teleport: Moonglade] is obtained at level 22. Before pre-patch it was obtained at level 14, which would put it at like level 6 now. Which I guess blizzard didn’t do because they didn’t want players teleporting out of Exile’s Reach. But why it’s at 22 and not 10 is a mystery. Currently doing Legion as Druid is hence a pain.
I found the hard way. I didn’t notice it didn’t pop into my spellbook, ran off to get my artefact and was quite surprised I can’t teleport back now. And I obviously didn’t have the foresight to unlock the flightpath to Dreamgrove because that’s something you never do, because you have the teleport.
So I HSed to Dalaran, jumped off and swam all the way to Dreamgrove.
Well, doh. So, created a ticket for this hope they can resolve it.
Well even they did a hotfix for new Druids. “Old Druids” wich did the quest before are still without the dreamway teleport. Blizzard realy messed this up.
Thats more then enough information for Blizzard to solve the problem… its an oversight with the new leveling system
I’m going to Bump this as after waiting more than a week and replying to 3 tickets, I’m not happy with how badly the blizz employees. They cannot seem to understand/fix this issue for my character. Even tho, they said they did multiple times.

GM finally managed to fix the issue, logged in and the teleport to moonglade skill replaced by dreamwalk tp.
