Dropping FPS When Enabling V-Sync From 120 to 50

Hi,

When I enable V-Sync in WoW, the fps drop from 120 to 50 in the open world. Is this normal?

game is broken since pre patch soo this is normal.

There are many threads about this situation already.

VSync will lock the max framerate to display refresh rate (should be 60Hz usually)

I have 144Hz monitor.

Edit: After googling this topic and other related topics, I did the following:

  1. Enabled Nvidia G-Sync.
  2. Disabled V-Sync
  3. Enabled Nvidia Reflx (Low Latency Mode: Reflex + Boost)
  4. Disabled Tripple Buffering
  5. Set Max Foreground FPS to 140 FPS (I have a 144Hz monitor)
