Druid, arcane and time magic

Hello,

I know the topic of whether druid arcane was similar to mage or not has been covered a lot, and from what I’ve read it appears that people either say it’s arcane (like mages) or astral, which is arcane mixed with nature anyway.

Considering that we’re soon going into Dragonflight and we’ll most likely meet up with the bronze, I wanted to know if there was any evidence/hint in regards to druids using arcane to create time magic, just as mages do. As time is a part of the world just as any other “nature” ressource, combined with the fact that druid seek to preserve the natural balance of things, can actually druids make use of arcane to create time magic to sort of counteract what a mage would do (which is bend time for his own benefits, like alter time or the new “time manipulation”).

Any answer is more than welcome, and if you have sources to back it up it would be great, even if it’s spoilers from DF I don’t mind!

This is certainly not going to happen, mate.

Arcane magic is just raw magic. Astral magic doesn’t exist. It was invented for fluff and balance druids. If it’s anything, it falls under Nature/Arcana blend magic as you say. Neither of those have time magic. I can see magi maybe getting some skill with time warping in future like an AoE slow time bubble but not druids.

It also doesn’t fit thematically. If you want time-magic, play Evoker or keep time-warping as a mage. Sorry

Druids use a mix of Arcane, Light and Nature, however casting mage-like spells is quite beyond them.
