Isn’t that a change, added with 8.X ?
Right now in the Beta, Druids can no longer gather Herbs while hovering over them.
Curious if we get a fix for that, otherwise it prob. Ruins the flight form?

If you are reffering to TBC Druid flight form, the flight form works as intended.
You cannot gather herbs while flying, you have to always sit down on the ground. But you will stay in your flight form while picking.
Oh when did it got changed? Because at some point you was able to gather while hovering ?
I don’t know the exact time when they changed it, i know in retail you can pick on the fly.
I just know in TBC and WotLK, you have to sit down on the ground in your form to pick herbs.
This doesn’t destroy the flight form at all, you save 3 seconds everytime and if you accidentally pull something, you can quickly disengage aswell.
Think it was Cataclysm. I recall in uldir I could pick flowers while still flying.
