Seems Blizz are at it again and doing away with Original Druid flying and giving Bird form dragon flying only,… Seems Blizz are taking chars and doing away with there special skills I for sure will be retiring my Druid healer and off spec dps and just doing a rouge char or hunter char.
Why when we have a new expansion does so much get messed about with talents and ability’s you get use to playing a char at its best and over night your back to square 1 and in some cases never get back to the level you were before all the changes, Yes its nice to have new raids, New maps, and increased powers in your talents but changing every think and removing class skills from game is like making it not a progressive Game were you build from what you had, But instead changes it to a new game.
Druids will be able to use regular flying too with a toggle in the game. The only issue is that toggle will make all other flying mounts into regular flight ones too. I can’t find anything suggesting that Druid flight form will only be dynamic flight enabled.
Thanks for that extra info on Druid Flying I sort of levelled through wow from Vanila from start of game in Eu so its sort of my char and I love the skills and class talents Druids have so if there going to have the option to fly as normal then that makes me happy I am a grumpy old sod, LOL I am in my mid 60’s and set in my ways some what all changes become a struggle I am also high end artistic which does not help with any changes in real life and game life.
The issue is the toggle. Druids lose because, as of right now, you can dismount your dragonriding mount mid air and activate flight form. Yes, it’s a “druid privilege”, but flight form has always been a druid privilege, so it’s effectively something special that druids could do being taken away.
This has only been a thing for a part of this expansion. The benefit of flight form was always that it was instant cast, and that functionality remains. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the two flight systems should not be mixed. There are clear advantages and disadvantages for using both and it’s up to you which one you choose.

Dreadful changes to flight form for druids. Defeats the fluid gameplay of druids. I was delighted to get normal flying in dragon flight and now the war within has removed it! Too old and grumpy to change from druids now - having tried every other character type it might be time to retire.
