Im looking very much forward to the new expansion Dragonflight. But i am wondering. Does anyone know if we are getting changes to any of our forms regarding looks.
New forms or even the possibility to change the looks on the Moonkin form?
In my point of view i feel the Kul tiran form is so cool, but i play a tauren.
Could be really refreshing gameplay to change Moonkin forms.
I currently play Kultiran JUST for the Drust forms hehe. Would love for them all to just get opened up, no matter race. Then I would play Worgen instead.
Moonkin aka Wildkin are very closely related to Elune, believed by some to even have been created by her. So it makes perfect sense for Night Elves, Worgen and to some degree Tauren to take on the form of a Moonkin when they want a stronger connection to Elune and her magic.
What doesnât make sense is why the Drustvar also choose that form since, iirc, there isnât any Wildkin on Kul Tiras. They should have got just as original forms as the Zandalari.
Using the âloreâ as an excuse to not give us whatever at this point just feels ridiculous. We just got back from fighting a space-robot in the afterlife, in a giant reality engine fuelled by a worldsoul.
Just give me an Arrakoa look and iâm ok with balance.
The chicken is just an overdue meme at this point and it needs to remain as an option, not a default.
Itâd be refreshing to get more forms yes. Iâm mostly using the magetower one as it was quite the challenge to get it. I do love playing my paladin more because I can transmog it and âbe differentâ. Druids should get more options for customization.
One idea I personally would find cool would be to let druids âimprintâ on different mobs in the world, kinda like the hunters tame. and mobs having different tags depending on the role theyâre supposed to fill.
Letâs say my druid see a mammoth, it has the âguardian tagâ and my druid âimprintsâ on that mammoth to get that appearance when being in guardian form. The appearance lasts until the druid âimprintsâ on a new animal.
Sure, Blizz would have to limit the available mobs for that to those that makes sense. Donât think a Mammoth can use a claw attack for example.
For some more rare appearances I guess you could implement risk of failure but imagine having Ashes of Aâlar as your flying form
This, I have also suggested this. Just disable for PvP and weâre good. Also let worgen be worgen in their feral form. But none of this will ever happen because nobody at Activision is asking themselves âWhat would be fun?â
