Druid glyph ideas

Hello,
I think that druids are lacking when it comes to glyphs - most of them just alter our forms. I came up with some glyph ideas to help us get more customization:

Glyph of thorns - changes wrath to shoot a thorn–like projectile (I’d love druids to have some nature-based attacks)
Glyph of shrooms - replaces Starfall with a giant poisonous mushroom similar to those in underrot
Glyph of spores - replaces sunfire with a spore-based attack

My idea is that Druids are guardians of nature, there is no reasons for us not to be able to manipulate it in order to attack our enemies. What do you think? Do you have any other ideas?

That would actually make me bother to play Balance. Personally I always felt that the druids magic was more closely rooted(pun intenteded) around plant/animal magic than star/astral, which always felt odd to me and prevented me from playing the Balance spec.

It might sound silly but, how you wrap a “package” is of great importance, especially nowadays in WoW since the classes feel very similar in gameplay, with a few differences here and there thus the aesthetics/lore is of great importance in creating uniqueness and if you don’t like the aesthetics of a class you won’t play it, since you can always find a class with similar game-play but more appealing aesthetics right around the corner.

An additional idea from me would be, maybe the return of Insect Swarm as a glyph to replace Moonfire or Sunfire.

I think since the glyphs have anyways been made purely cosmetic I feel there’s no reason we (and all other classes) shouldn’t have more customization from it. Your ideas are good even though it’s not my style but it’d be cool if we could personalize our own character.

From my PoV I would love to have the Fire Bird form able to be glyphed from the Firelands, similar to how I have the Fire Cat form. This way together with the obtainable set from islands you could create a dedicated set to appear like one of them, like in an RP sense.
Another one that would be pretty cool is to add more “astral” forms of Druid and have a distinct difference between the “nature” and “arcane” aspects which is mostly a Balance thing but that way you could have a more blueish form for the flight form similar in aesthetics to Algalon. This could be paired with the likes of the base glyph Astral Form, the Balance of Power Guardian form or the Mage Tower Cat Form.

I’d mostly be in favor of being able to adjust our forms directly and I’d like some more options to the Moonkin Form but also changing up the way our spells look a bit more would be cool. Lifebloom already have multiple options but one of them is a “Twilight” one, this could also be expanded into other abilities to create a more purple look, maybe a more old god “corrupted” aesthetic.
Idk, this area could be explored and expanded in so many different ways but I think it’s a great way for us to personalize our styles inside our characters.

I do like your Glyph of Thorns idea - I seem to remember even reading about Malfurion doing something very similar once, to what you describe?
I have not been fond of the Wrath animation for quite some time, either.

I would really adore it, if we as Druids could call upon the aspect of water too - but I know, that in the universe of World of Warcraft, that is reserved for Shamans.

I’d love to see something that would allow me to transmog weapon and cat form separately. I love the artifact cat forms, but hate the daggers.

I want the glyph which gives the solar form from that talent that was removed.
