So i am far from a pro… more like a noob druid healer.
Last season however I played resto shaman and compared to this druid, the shaman heals felt ALLOT stronger. Stuff even dies when I am in tree and spamming regrowth’s.
I also go oom usually before other healers.
Now I am pretty horrible, just wondering if some good druid experiences the same.
Healing isn’t that bad. I think that mana costs are ridiculus. Druids gets oom extremely fast. To be succcessful it has to drink all the time.
yeah I am starting to learn it some what now. Atleast I can keep people a live beter now, but still usually I lose the mana battle
druid is the healer that scales the most with stats rn with this honor gear we have like 13-15% mastery, on full gear with proper stats we will be around 19% mastery which means we gonna heal 4-5% more per hot, and we have like 7-8 hots on a fully hotted target, so like 30-40% more healing than now xD
I’d argue. Today I played with a Druid that had 3 set pieces already. Either he is degenerate or swiped his card and he still had to dring every 30 sec to do well. His HPS and single target was good. R Druid kind of has to go Mastery and when he does it he is vulnerable to Purge. Dispel protection is unfortunately weak as enemy healer can dispel the debuff after Purges and keep Purging. To make Druid work this season you need to kinda go all in - bis gear or you’ll feel weaker than powerhouses like Disc, MW and Prevoker. These are 3 best healers atm. R Shaman will fall off due to terrible set unless it plays something like Shadow/Boomy/R Sham or Shadowplay where he can maybe try to make Healing Rain work but other than that set for him is a downgrade in terms of stats. H Pala, R Druid and H Priest unfortunately lose on mana hard and that’s their issue.
So after watching some guides and this thread i realised I was playing horrible…
I am now at the point I understand the basics atleast and how more hots increase everyother hot thanks to the mastery passive. Like usually i started with rejuv but lifebloom acts like it’s 3 stacks so +30% more heals just from that one spell alone etc. Anyways
After playing resto shaman last season this feels like allot of work compared lol. Like perfect single target hot rotation should be.
Lifebloom - rejuvenate - rejuvenate - lifebloom - lifebloom - regrowth - cenarion ward - swiftmend…
Thats allot off button presses for 1 solo target healing. Shaman has like 3…
I am not convinced yet if I gonna main it this season. However I do like the playstyle and the cc options.
So I have bad news. Because most of the Druids main go for 5 yards more range talents and literally stay behind not going for CC unless playing 2s.

lifebloom adaptive reju ward swiftmend reju, people dont realize adaptive gives 16% extra healing for free for alot of time if you time it properly with swiftmend, most people just forget about that spell and is the only thing that makes your hot strong (also count for mastery)
also don’t try to stack your lifeblooms it will come auto when you refresh the lifeblooms, no doubt u lose on mana

In SS Resto Druid is trash compared to Priest… because our carry potential is very low, we are class which depend how our mates using defensives or not… when you play with guys who not use defensive its automatic lose. You dont have toolkit to save guy who not wish to save himself, compared to priest which can PS careless player, or health swap him, or shield him to increase his reaction time.
-With priest toolkit bad player turn into god, and there is no currently bad priests in game, they can be only good and very good, class is so strong even when they are losing they are wining. simply overbuffed god class.
-With resto druid toolkit bad player become even worst, our toolkit feels lackluster like we are bringing nothing to the table. With carefull mates we arguably have more potential than priests, but in SS no one cares to rotate defensives and CC carefully, which makes us very weak compared to priest, trash even.
