Druid Humanoid form Toy

I love my druid, but I’m not completely in love with the forms for cat and bear. I don’t have a major problem with them, I just prefer to humanoid forms so i’ve resorted to using what ever toy takes me out of cat/bear form and into a humanoid form. The best toy being Ai-li sky mirror used on myself, That way I get to see my character and transmog. Sadly it only lasts 10mins on a 1hr cooldown.

With the new hairdressing options for animal forms, Do you think there would be a possibility to get a “non-form” form for those specs? I feel like the only counter argument would be “class identity” or “class recognition”, but I feel like that went out the window a long time ago. I can mostly only identify classes by what color my UI uses

We got Glyph of stars which has been a huge hit with a lot of players. Maybe something like this could work really well for feral/guardian.

I think the issue is pvp balance. I’m not a pvp player but I guess druids visual shifting effects pvp balance. For example If the druid comes out of their form to do a certain heal etc then they can be sheeped. Wouldn’t that give druids an advantage as they can hide a weakness of their class that’s part of the game?

I know you can look at buffs to see what form a druid is in but I guess hiding visuals is still an advantage, correct me if im wrong.

Removes the entire purpose of the druid theme. Druids are affiliated with nature and they take upon various of ANIMAL forms and use whatever its benefit serves. Additionally, as stated by this lovely Void Elf above,

It WILL give them an advantage in PvP occasions.

Farewell.

This counter is actually iron here :stuck_out_tongue: How do you use swipe as Night Elf? or any animal ability? it just doesn’t make sense :stuck_out_tongue: How about flying form in Night Elf shape? overlooked? :>

If all else fails you can be in forms as a gnome… the gnome toy works for all druid forms !

Of course.
Being a Gnome is better than being a cat or bear

True, I hadn’t considered PVP as I am mostly PvE player. Does glyph of stars stop somemone from being cc’d?

If you love your druid, you love your forms and shapeshifting. If you dont, you dont love your druid.

Glyth of stars works the same as if you had Boomkin form on, It still has a stand out animation though so pvpers could see. It’s harder to see than boomkin form though I guess.

Best to keep it as is in my opinion…

It’s part of the class identity as you say, but it also affects PvP as it’ll be impossible to tell when someone is in or out of bear or cat form.

Maybe they’ll release a more “humanoid” cat or bear form one day.
Where you’re a mix of your race and a bear/cat.
Kind of like a “werebear” or “werecat”.

Maybe the solution is to just have a toy that doesn’t work in arena. Much like the toys that already exist. But this one would just let someone appear as their humanoid self for 1hr on and 1hr cooldown.
Til then, i’ll keep being a nightelf in a dress (Kalytha’s Haunted Locket) :frowning:

never the less, thank you for bringing the pvp issue to my attention. I’ll try and remain grounded as its very unlikely i’ll get my wishes granted.

Maybe i’d have more chance of getting a dodge tank spec for rogue
