So i don’t know how many people are aware but most of the lag issues in zones aren’t caused by anything but a bunch of druids going to these high spawn rate areas and just doing there thing. I know most people just shrug it off “oh it’s just blizzard being blizzard. Crappy servers” and all that but frankly most of the time (outside of new community feasts and world bosses) servers will only lag due to druids being druids. So i don’t know about you guys but something needs to be done about this, people shouldn’t suffer and or be unable to do stuff in zones just because someone feels like exploiting hyperspawns for their own benefit. Even worse so when they get in 5 man groups in areas that have quests where you need to kill mobs but you can’t because they always tag them first.
Can you actually explain what the problem is? What is hyperspawning? What are these Druids doing that causes lag?
Also mob tags dont really exist anymore. You can hit a mob after someone else has attacked it and still get quest credit and loot from it. Even when they’re on the opposing faction. It’s one of the best changes Blizz has ever made in my opinion.
Yes it does. If a full group tag, the mob before you, you can’t tag it.
Its called 4x2 farming. Its one of the raw gold farming method also used for skinning.
In which 2 groups of 4 people farm to gather. Why 2x4? Bcoz it allows to tag both group to gather amd also gives loot to both group.
I dont think it creats lag tbh.
I take it you’ve not been to Stormsong valley lately or Azure span in the Dragon isles. There are a few spots in Stormsong valley where you’d have groups 4 druids and a BM monk or just druids going around spamming their starfalls and such, and trust me those zones would get plenty of lag.
Thanks resident lag expert. Out of all of the billions of calculations a server must run a second I didn’t realise it was dem druids making all the lag.

how about stop hyperspawn and increase quest rewards to normal levels so that people can do dailies for gold like in tbc
for example a reasonable reward for a quest would be 800-1000g for 10mins of work
those are bots, report them
