So, I am trying to understand this. Why would someone pay for several accounts (pay for every expansion per account, and pay for monthly subs for every account) so they can run around like a cancer, pick up every herb and crap it out on AH at ridiculously low prices? Where is the profit in that?
Hundreds of thousands of herbs on AH that flood the market which makes it unattractive for a regular player to gather for profit.
I am shaking my head at Blizzard that they even allow this. They used to be a company with pride and integrity that would cancel entire projects that didnât meet their needs.
But now they allow almost anything that would give them a quick profit.
EDIT: Hell, it wouldnât surprise me that they are the ones who sell the âillegalâ gold to players in the first place.
It has been pointed out before, that you should not be so certain itâs multiboxers alone. A part of me wish Blizzard could release statistics on how many players got Herbalism on their account.
The thing is, especially in early BFA, everyone was told to pick up herbalism if they wanted gold. At the same time, Anchor Weed as a very important herb, was really hard to get. Result, a lot of players picked up herbalism on multiple characters on their account, for own use and to earn gold. This seems to be the trend with everyone I know too. I donât know a single player who has been playing for a few years who do NOT have Herbalism. Aka, less buyers and possibly way too many sellers.
Point is, tons of herbs on the AH doesnât = Multiboxers(necessarily.) Could just mean that people donât need to buy much herbs themselves, because they can grind most for themselves.
Where are all the low-priced herbs on the AH? Iâve seen no herb that goes for less than 10g per piece. Some are like 60g+ per piece. That doesnât sound like cheap herbs flooding the AH to me.
Yeah, but have you forgotten herb prices and amount of them right before SL? 1-2g per herb⌠try to do a little calculation of how many BFA herbs you should have picked to earn a token.
I think SL is going down the same road
Death Blossom went from 50-60 per herb down to 10-15g per herb, just in a matter of few weeks. And Rising Glory is around 20g per herb, where it was around 80+ gold before. That is a really quick dip. What do you think will happen to the prices in a few months?
Disallow looting from same mob or node from same ip and dc them when they attempt, and when they caught bypassing that take other measures like suspensions or bans.
While keeping in mind that some players do play from same ip, heck why looting from same node or mob from same ip should trigger it, and should only dc you from the game.
There is plenty they can do and they arenât doing now, its pathetic the state game is in right now with all its issues, i understand we are middle of a pandemic but i would not expect that to be a problem, if anything they benefit from it due having more customers, they just need to stop firing everyone.
Do not quote me out of context.
Yeah, except that âmore custommersâ just means: more accounts for the same player. More accounts to control and screw up not only material prices but also the immersion of the game.
They / Bliz take this road of allowing more money from the same player (for multiboxing) but in the long run they will totally ruin their game for a majority of players who do other things than quest and raid.
And at the very end (if they donât fix this), the only people that will be playing this game will be players with serious OCD and addiction problems for their little, quick dopamine rush. AND players who control an army of druids, sucking it all dry like locusts, thus creating inflation of ressources.
because they are not multiboxers the are cheating using lua scripts and blizzard should ban the lot they were in drustvar the other night and they were not herbing just running a short circular route killing mobs, i always report them but looks like the ones in charge
dont care whats happening
News flash, material prices always drop quickly after a launch. There is a spike in demand to level up the professions, and that dies out quickly. At the same time more players level up and pick herbs as well.
i ran around the kyrian zone leveling a hunter i ran in to 5 groups of 5 moonboys runing around picking herbs lucky i was doing skinning so it does not effect me realy
This time is earning gold time for gold makers and RMT people.
No flying so everything is overpriced atm.
Once flying introduced then its price will be way go down.
Today I was missing 10ish herb from Maldraxus zone to make few flasks. I still found multiboxers in zone and took me 13+ min to just find 2 nods for 8 herbs. At start of expansion I found those nods in less than 2min. I didnât spend gold to level up alchemy - it was just by normal questing + farming on the way.
Also I found 6 players(5 druids and 1hunter) sitting at one single nod of death blossom in Maldraxus - nod was insta spawning so they just farming with 0 down time and no running at all. That nod wasnt disappearing at all
Its not the first time. In Legion at least(before that didnt pay much attention to the market). Herbs at the start costed a treasure and then the price started to drop. Once flying came around the prices fell like a rockâŚ
i make gold buy selling trasmogs on RP servers funny how some low level green gear can sell for 1000-30000 gold on AH way better gold make then run arround collecting herbs
They sell gold for real money probably or something else but they have profit from it for sure
8 Druids farming 4 spawn points :
Before that it was infested with hunters. I recieved responce from GM and mail which sayd that they tooke actions but those got instantly replaced by new ones and there are more of them now! :
