Ive looked at this a lot, and neither 2 set or 4 set are worth taking for druid resto, with nearly a 2% margin.
Only seems worthwhile for mythic/dungeon talents, for raid healing its weaker?
Two set was good for a short time, before they re-did talent trees for 10.5 but every gear set up i look at using mr Robot and simcraft puts it below non-tier gear sets ever since.
I can’t see a scenario where, at same ilvl, tier gear performs worse than non tier. One, it’s a buff, and 2, WG is one of your highest healing abilities.
But maybe I’m missing something
Two set now has a 0.02% improvement on non tier…and its mostly due to tier not all being same ilvl.
I think its to force mythic + and use of catalyst to turn higher lvl items into tier, its only than that it has lead. But if you take as it is, even if only looking at raid gear, its not BiS on sims, if you include M+ of raiding ilvl, it falls further behind until you start converting higher ilvl into tier. It only take proper lead back when you convert all 411 into tier and just ignore tier tokens from raids.
Even then, the margins arent that huge due to secondary stats, its not optimal, it just has the int and bonus effects.
