Druid/Shamans should be able to shapeshift into collected Mounts

Heya, its time.

The should be an option for druids and shamans (ground mounts only for ghost wolf) to use mounts as shapeshift forms instead of what we currently have.

This will be hella awesome for rp and casual players.

Imagine a Druid transforming into a floating void squid octopus.

Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I get where you’re coming from - not a dumb idea in principle - but it doesn’t fit the class fantasy and causes insanely dumb things to happen.

It’s not a bad idea but a lot of mounts just don’t work and makes it silly.

Depends on how serious the game wants to be. It’d fit great as a comedy genre. But of course, it’d be a new direction for the game if they’d do that, although I’d personally enjoy it since I don’t care about lore and it doesn’t impact the ways the classes are played.

I respect what you presonally would enjoy. But at the same time
 kindly have to ask people not to ruin what other cares about in return. People will hit you back for it. And in turn not care for something you care about again in the future


For anyone passionate about the RPG and story and lore Elements in the game. Changes like these are a Death sentence as far as motivation and inspiration goes. And they are usually the elements that first inspires new players to play and invest them self into a game.

If Wow did this. Or made every class playable for every race. You’d end up with a Apathic WoW community full of casual or Sweaty try hards who never shower. A WoW where no one cares and the entire game eventually becomes a Meme.

Everything will be about new m+ and raids that makes absolutely no sense. Or is remotely relatable to warcraft.

Secondlife just with warcraft instead. And those few remaining who still cares about pushing keys and raids.

That’s a tough one. Danuser’s writing doesn’t get much endorsement from me, it’s full of dumb stuff. Matter of fact it’s his writing that gets us a void squid as a friggin’ mount in the first place.

I think the shapeshifting into a squid brain is dumber, actually. I don’t think that Druids should just be turning into anything and everything. They have a very clear alignment - and that alignment is to the Emerald Dream and the green dragonflight. Making them turn into arcane-aligned robots or void-aligned squid-brains or, perhaps most ridiculous of all, a fel-aligned infernal. It just shouldn’t happen.

Jaina’s boat, for all its ridiculousness, at least had something to do with Jaina. At was aligned with Jaina as a character.

I want them to fix it, not go “oololololollll who cares at this point” but I felt the same way about the faction divide and
 well, that’s history.
